Saturday roast beef

Greetings dear friends, this weekend I am here again happy to be able to share with you the special moments that life has given me on my Saturday.

Last week I told you that for me there are no weekends because every day is the same, but now I come with new news to tell you. I have had a very long weekend. In my country the "First Cry of Independence" is commemorated on August 10, which is a civic moment and therefore there was a holiday, that is, a day of the work week, in this case Friday was not worked. Of course I had attacks of going out to the outside world, among them were: visiting a very old town, climbing a mountain, enjoying delicious food, accompanying my sister in a special moment as it was the recognition of being a Doctor. I can do all the things I mentioned above, although with the help of the universe I did it, I have had days full of many experiences. For this I feel very grateful, despite the problems at home I have been able to enjoy for a moment the little things that life offers me.

In the next few days I will post pictures of the events and places I was able to attend. For now I would like to share with you a brief account of what my day was like on Saturday.

Latacunga is a city well known for celebrating a festival called "La Mama Negra", this event takes place in the month of September every year. Then, the towns of the city get ready to receive the big party. So this time there was a parade near my house, I took the opportunity to take a picture. I didn't really manage to stay, because it wasn't in my plans for Saturday. The main objective was to walk around the city and go to a place where they sell grilled food. The day deserved it, there was a radiant sun, this also allowed me to capture the "Cotopaxi" volcano.

After walking I arrived to the most expected place and do what I like (eating). The place was a little empty, the reason is that I arrived very early, since usually it is always full in the evenings for the delicious food they offer. But this is nothing new, since this is my second time here. The place is very nice, with a very rich atmosphere, it is full of wooden tables and chairs with cushions of various colors.

This time I ordered a mixed skewer, consisting of chicken breast, roast beef and sausages, which was accompanied by potatoes, salad, chimichurri and sauces. On the other hand, my companion ordered a delicious bean stew, accompanied by roast pork, salad and a fried egg. The food was delicious in a quiet, cozy atmosphere and above all at an affordable price, since all we consumed, plus two more beers, came to a price of 11 US dollars.

As you can see, it has been a Saturday in the company of a radiant sun and tasting a delicious grilled meat. As I was saying I feel very grateful, my days are quite lonely and sometimes boring, when I do things like this it is inevitable not to feel blessed. I hope you also enjoyed your weekend.
