Hello, Hivers worldwide I want to share with you one of the most beautiful islands here in the Philippines which is not very far from my hometown The Virgin Island*.
THE VIRGIN ISLAND OF BANTAYAN, CEBU, PHILIPPINES
The pristine Virgin Island is a well-known Bantayan Island tourist spot it is stunning white sand beaches and crystal clear waters. with so many activities to offer that you can enjoy all over the island. Such as swimming in crystal clear waters, snorkeling, coastal strolls along the seashore, and cliff jumping.
VIRGIN ISLAND BANTAYAN ENTRANCE FEE
When you arrived at Virgin Island Bantayan, There is an additional entrance fee of 200 pesos per person or 3.56 US Dollars.
SHELL GARDEN PHOTOS
As I arrived in the Virgin Island this is my photograph of welcomed by shell displays in the form of curtains, garden bed decorations with wind shame, and many nice ornamental plants under the fruit trees. most of the shells here are scallop shells. It is very nice looking that brings beauty to attract the eyes of individuals.
WALK THROUGH THE CACTUS GARDEN
Virgin Island Bantayan has an amazing cactus garden, It is an interesting spot to walk through the cactus.
The majestic surroundings of the Virgin Island, lie a hidden gem that mesmerizes visitors with its unique charm and natural beauty of the Cactus Garden. Huge cactus will make it alluring for visitors who are nature and cactus lovers.
This type of cactus is the Nopal Cactus is more commonly known as the prickly pear cactus. Many people believe it has multiple health benefits due to its high antioxidant, vitamin, and mineral content.
CLIFF JUMPING
You can find the Cliff Jumping area on the northwest side of Virgin Island. which is different features from small cliffs to longer cliffs.
There is a range of diving boards starting as low the 3 meters, the middle jump is for 5 meters and the highest one is for 8 meters.
THE RESTAURANT
There are also foods and drinks that you can order if your body needs them when you are thirsty and hungry you can choose and buy what you like.
THE WATER JAR
Virgin Island has no deep well water. They get the water from the other island by boat and put it into the jar for the guest's water consumption.
THE COTTAGES
Bamboo cottages are 3000 pesos or 53.10 US Dollars good for 2 persons. Barbara's cottage is 7000 pesos or 124.05 US Dollars good for 8 to 10 persons. For some of the guests staying in the Virgin Islands cottage, the place is very good for relaxation.
HOW TO TRAVEL FROM CEBU, CITY TO SANTA FE, BANTAYAN ISLAND?
Exact Location: Virgin Island, Santa Fe, Bantayan Island, Northern Cebu Philippines.
If you want to go to Virgin Island, you have to go to Santa Fe, Bantayan Island First.
From SM North Bus Terminal to Bantayan Island the fare is 360 pesos or 6.40 US Dollars. There is a bus going to Madredejos a Ceres Bus it is a direct trip to Madredejos and will pass by Santa Fe, Bantayan. The ticket for the Ferry Boat is not Yet included. In Hagnaya you must pay also for your Ferry Boat ticket.
From SM North Bus Terminal to Hagnaya Port. Air condition bus is 300 pesos or 5.33 US Dollars and an ordinary bus / nonaircon bus is 260 pesos or 4.62 US Dollars.
From: SM north bus terminal take a V-HIre or a Taxi going to Hagnaya Port is another option also but the fare is higher.
HAGNAYA PORT (Hagnaya, San Remegio, Cebu)
From Hagnaya port take the Express Ferry Boat to Santa Fe, Bantayan Island. Travel time is about a 1-hour ride to Sta. Fe, Bantayan Island. A Ro-Ro vessel from Hagnaya to Santa Fe is also available every day.

Fare of 350 pesos or 6.21 US Dollars including the Terminal Fee.
SCHEDULE (Departure Arrival)
- 1:00 AM - 2:00 AM
- 3:00 AM - 4:00 AM
- 5:00 AM - 6:00 AM
- 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM
- 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM
The scheduled trip of ISLAND SHIPPING is until 5 o" clock in the afternoon every day. what is next? After reaching Santa Fe, Bantayan.
HOW TO GET THERE IN VIRGIN ISLAND?
There is no other way to reach it except by Renting a small boat It should take about 30 to 40 minutes to reach the Virgin Island Virgin Island is not very far from Santa Fe, Bantayan.
PUMP BOAT FEE:
a pump boat from Santa Fe, Bantayan to the Virgin Islands. Pickup point: to be discussed by the boatman: Fee 1,500 pesos or 26.59 US Dollars. But it is required to travel in a day time.
