My partner and I have agreed to always see each other at least once a week to kind of unwind from the stresses we got from our undividual responsibilities, at work and at home.
Searching for a quality dish or food has been our way of spending time together especially on weekends. It may sound lowkey to some but the happiness that the food brings is beyond words. And I guess it is safe to say that we are both foodaholics. Hahaha.
We had a heavy lunch yesterday (Saturday) at Casa Verde (one of the famous restaurants in Cebu City) which I had limited photos only due to unbearable hunger and rush for the next appointment.
So for dinner that day, we opted to find something lighter, and look what we bumped into! This was also our craving for few days already. (Drum roll) Friends, may I present to you - Burger Joint!
These are the choices that they offer.
You have a lot of options to pick from and how the burger looks will give you a hard time choosing. Every burger is a masterpiece that's worth a try.
For a minute, I finally decided what to eat. So, I ordered Mushroom Bacon Cheese. I can have it solo but since I am not a solo person anymore, hahaha, I upgraded it to Value Meal which means it has side dishes to choose from which are french fries, onion rings, and potato crisps. It also includes drinks like pineapple, iced tea, coke, and a lot more.
FINALLY, IN MY HANDS!
When I smelled the patty being cooked, my mouth started to water. Gosh, it smells like heaven. In less than five minutes, the order is ready.

It was the longest and most intense "Wooooow!!!!" I have ever said.
The burger looks literally big than the usual. It showcases its enticing beauty. It is a pile of bread, a well-cooked and appetizing patty, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, mushroom, and a perfectly cooked bacon topped with oozing cheese and a slice of bread.
FIRST AND LAST BITES
In my first bite, I almost fell off from my seat. I even forgot to take a photo of it because the taste is mesmerizing and one of a kind. It is superb! We ran out of words complimenting how great the burger looks and tastes as we were down to our last bite.
And in a span of minutes, the box and the cups got empty!
We survived the burger and the burger successfully sufficed our cravings! Hahaha!
We were extremely full, satisfied, and beyond happy. It was affirmed by a loud burp! Hahahaha.
This is a deserving purchase, a worthy food exploration, a newly found food addiction that we will never get tired going back to. This food experience is worth sharing!
A great burger, in a valuable conversation with the best person, is history in the making. Hahaha.
If I had to rate Burger Joint, it is absolutely a resounding and thunderous 10/10!
Warning! Do not underestimate the power of Burger Joint. It isn't light. It is a much heavier snack that makes you skip your next meal. #ThriftHack! Hahaha!
