I do like the rain. I enjoy that cozy feel of being under a blanket and seeing a movie or reading a book. Eating even. I like that earthy smell that comes with it too, Petrichor. I like the splash of water when I stay close. I like the afteramath too- that droplets on leafs. Sometimes it gets all muddy and irritating though, and today I did laundry (as usual), and I was hoping for some sunshine to dry them clothes, but it only came sparingly. I decided I was going to take a walk with a friend and have a look around the compound, take some photos maybe.
I saw the tree branches and water droplets all over them, for sure I was going to take a photo of it. Now here is where the problem started. So it turns out that my supposedly advanced phone wasn't so much advanced. The camera didn't have a macro lens. I was really disappointed. I sure would have enjoyed that. Luckily, the friend of mine that came along with me had a Tecno Camon 16, and the it had a macro lens. I know it's crazy, my Camon 17 didn't have one, but hers did. Makes me wonder if we are going backwards or forward. Anyways, I used her device and got a way much better photo. Looks surreal.
Now this is The Ageratum Conyzoides also known as the Billy Goat weed. Okay yeah I had to Google that. I couldn't possibly have had that in my mind could I? I like how tiny and colorful they always look.
And then below are a couple of other cool shots I took while taking the walk. It is quite a lovely evening you see. Happy weekend. Cheers.
