Yogurt
I had to take time out in the early morning to get another batch of yogurt started. It takes 36 hours in the yogurt machine to come to completion.
I like to warm the half-n-half before adding in the inulin and the bacteria capsules. Once that is all mixed, I add in two large Tablespoons of yogurt from the previous batch.
This batch contained L Gasseri and L Reuteri bacteria together which is the first time I've combined the two.
Seed Starting
I still hadn't taken time to start the Petunia seeds, or the Red Onions, so I took the time to pull out everything I needed and get that done. Also, I started some Eggplant, kale, and lettuce. The lettuce seed is two years old and I'm not sure if it will germinate. If not, I will have to get some new packets for this year.
Keto Lunch - Smoked Oysters
I normally have sardines for lunch with an avocado, but when I went shopping this week, they were all out and only had these smoked oysters. Mind you, I've never been a fan of raw ones, but thought I would try these at least once.
They were different for sure, but I managed to eat all of them except one. After eating the garlic cheese curds, cottage cheese, and the olives, I was very full.
I needed a new cover for my iPad and found this pretty one on Amazon for under $10. I love my hummingbirds and this is perfect for me and brings me joy every time I open it up.
