, we have some important rules and guidelines in The Ink Well that you need to be aware of.
- We expect writers who post in our community to have an introductory post on their blog describing themselves and their interest in Hive. This helps to ensure that we only curate true accounts from Hive members in good standing.
- All images must be sourced. You either need to provide the source and link, or a reference to how it was generated. For example, if your image was generated by AI, then you must state that and provide the name of the generation tool. If it is your own photo, then you must state that.
- We ask that writers format their stories. One long paragraph for a story of over 770 words makes it very difficult to read. Please break up your stories into shorter paragraphs.
- We expect everyone who posts in The Ink Well to engage in the community by reading and commenting on the work of at least two other writers for story posted.
Additionally, we have some recommended resources:
- The Ink Well's treasure trove of tips, reminders and guidelines
- Our catalog of storytelling tips
We will consider curating your stories when you follow our guidelines. Thank you.
