Hola mis amigos de está comunidad y de Hive es un placer seguir trayendo contenido de calidad a la plataforma en donde estamos resaltando parte de nuestra cultura, como lo es en esta iniciativa creada por ustedes, para Venezuela. Esta comunidad se ocupa de abarcar todo aquel sentir por nuestra patria, trayendo cultura, gastronomía y el modo de vivir de nuestra vida en este país, espero les gusten y disfruten de como se vive el carnaval en mi ciudad.
Como todos saben, soy del oriente del país donde el carnaval de vive muy diferente del resto, nací en el estado Sucre, Cumaná y esta tierra se caracteriza por tener unas fiestas únicas en su esplendor, aunque cabe resaltar que las cosas han venido teniendo un bajo cauce debido a la situación que vive y sigue enfrentando el país. Hoy en día me encuentro viviendo en Maturín estado Monagas, aunque es también del oriente no he podido pasar carnaval aquí, es por eso que decidí ir a Cumaná donde esta mi gente, mis amigos y mi familia, aquí solo tuve la oportunidad de salir en familia a la elección de la reina.

Hello my friends of this community and Hive is a pleasure to continue bringing quality content to the platform where we are highlighting part of our culture, as it is in this initiative created by you, for Venezuela. This community is concerned with covering all those feelings for our country, bringing culture, gastronomy and the way of living our life in this country, I hope you like and enjoy how the carnival is lived in my city.
As you all know, I am from the east of the country where the carnival is very different from the rest, I was born in the state of Sucre, Cumana and this land is characterized by having unique festivities in its splendor, although it should be noted that things have been having a low channel due to the situation that the country is facing and continues to face. Today I am living in Maturin, Monagas state, although it is also from the east I have not been able to spend carnival here, that's why I decided to go to Cumana where my people, my friends and my family are, here I only had the opportunity to go out with my family to the election of the queen.
Los carnavales en mi ciudad.
Los carnavales son unas de las fiestas más importantes del país, es por eso que con mucho tiempo de anterioridad se logran hacer los recursos para utilizarlos en estas fiestas, por lo general se usan carrozas adornadas para salir en los desfiles, igualmente muchas personas se disfrazan para acompañar estas largas caminatas, la familia se reúne y logran salir a ver las comparsas, esto debido a la diversidad de carrozas que salen en las mismas, aunque últimamente todo esto ha cambiado mucho. Lo más tradicional de estas fiestas es que las personas juegan al carnaval, es un tipo de juego en donde entre ellos mismos buscan ingredientes o algunos elementos para colocarlo encima de las otras personas, aunque normalmente se usa agua como método de castigo a los demás; desde mi experiencia puedo decir que me gusta mucho jugar al carnaval, pero siempre y cuando esto sea solamente con mi familia, aunque prefiero una buena comida y disfrutar con ellos de otra manera, pero todo va a depender de la forma en que empiece la fiesta.
El oriente es caracterizado por estos eventos muy grandes ya que tenemos los carnavales de Carupano y los de Cumaná, incluyendo también los de Guanta y los de Maturín, he tenido la oportunidad de vivir los carnavales en cada una de estas partes, pero menos aquí en la ciudad de Maturín, para estas fechas a las personas les gusta mucho disfrazarse es por eso que desde el nacimiento de mi hijo Gael me ha gustado estar a la par con él y salir a la calle disfrazados, aunque en este año no lo pudimos realizar como es debido por problemas de salud. Lo que más me gusta de los carnavales en Venezuela es el brillo, los colores y la diversión que lo caracteriza, además del esfuerzo que hace cada persona por tratar de mantener la tradición activa, una de las cosas que también me gusta es que podemos salir a la calle disfrazados de los personajes que más amamos, también que podemos estar en familia un buen rato, como en mi caso personal que tuve que viajar hasta la ciudad de Cumaná.
Carnivals are one of the most important festivities in the country, that is why with a long time in advance they manage to make the resources to use them in these parties, usually decorated floats are used to go out in the parades, also many people dress up to accompany these long walks, the family gets together and get out to see the parades, this due to the diversity of floats that come out in the same, although lately this has changed a lot. The most traditional part of these parties is that people play carnival, it is a kind of game where among themselves they look for ingredients or some elements to place on top of other people, but usually water is used as a method of punishment to others; from my experience I can say that I really like playing carnival, but as long as this is only with my family, although I prefer a good meal and enjoy with them in another way, but everything will depend on how the party starts.
The east is characterized by these very big events since we have the carnivals of Carupano and Cumana, including also those of Guanta and Maturin, I have had the opportunity to live the carnivals in each of these parts, but less here in the city of Maturin, for these dates people really like to dress up is why since the birth of my son Gael I have liked to be on par with him and go out in costume, although this year we could not do it as it should because of health problems. What I like most about carnivals in Venezuela is the brightness, the colors and the fun that characterizes it, in addition to the effort that each person makes to try to keep the tradition active, one of the things I also like is that we can go out dressed as the characters we love the most, also we can be with family a good time, as in my personal case I had to travel to the city of Cumaná.
Los carnavales y su forma de llevar la tradición.
En cuánto a los disfraces puedo mencionar que he tenido la oportunidad de disfrazarme de diferentes personajes como lo son: Caperucita roja, muñeca, abeja, de conejita, bruja, pirata, jazmín de Aladino, de India, catrina, tigre entre otros, estos han sido lo más resaltante y los que me acuerdo, además de las que guardo fotos ya que las perdí en mi pc vieja y no tuve respaldo alguno, para mí los carnavales son una fiesta muy bonita y armónica, pero últimamente no las he disfrutado mucho debido a la situación que se vive ya que no es lo mismo de antes. En mi ciudad la disfrutan también jugando la guerra, el cual es un juego que se divide en dos grupos en donde ambos se llenan de bombas con agua y empieza la guerra entre ellos, gana quien derrote más, también podemos encontrarnos con la elección de la reina tanto de la ciudad, como la de las escuelas ya que estás también se incluyen en estos eventos, de todo es importante resaltar la unión en las personas, es así como la navidad.
Cuando estaba niña nunca me llegué a disfrazar, pues mis padres no tenían las maneras y eso para ellos no era tan relevante, con tal de estar con la familia era más que suficiente, después de unos años y cuando ya tenía más de 18 fue cuando pude disfrutar de este tipo de fiestas, esto lo hacía asistiendo a eventos con referencia a estos días, también con la familia del que era mi novio y con amigos en el trabajo. Exactamente hace más de 15 años tuve la oportunidad de trabajar en el castillo de telas en la ciudad de Cumaná, estás personas les gustaba tomar un día de carnaval para que las vendedoras lucieran sus trajes, en ese tiempo fue cuando me vestí de jazmín de la serie Aladín y esto fue realmente relajante ya que andaba en zapatillas todo el día en ese local, también varios de mis clientes de tomaron fotos conmigo y los demás del equipo, eso era una gran fiesta que terminaba en un compartir íntimo con todos los empleados, también tuve la oportunidad de ir al día siguiente de esa fiesta a otra, pero esta vez con la familia y esto fue realmente divertido, porque teníamos que hace entradas con referencia a esos personajes, esa época fue la mejor, pero hoy en día disfruto de otra manera y en compañía de mi hijo quien es el que más disfruta.
As for the costumes I can mention that I have had the opportunity to dress up as different characters such as: Red Riding Hood, doll, bee, bunny, witch, pirate, Aladdin's jasmine, India, catrina, tiger among others, these have been the most outstanding and those that I remember, in addition to which I keep photos since I lost them in my old pc and I had no backup, for me the carnivals are a very nice and harmonious party, but lately I have not enjoyed them much due to the situation that is lived since it is not the same as before. In my city they also enjoy playing the war, which is a game that is divided into two groups where both are filled with bombs with water and starts the war between them, whoever defeats more wins, we can also find the election of the queen of both the city and the schools as they are also included in these events, it is important to highlight the union in people, it is like Christmas.
When I was a child I never got to dress up, because my parents did not have the manners and that for them was not so relevant, as long as I was with the family was more than enough, after a few years and when I was over 18 was when I could enjoy this kind of festivities, I did this by attending events with reference to these days, also with the family of my boyfriend and with friends at work. Exactly more than 15 years ago I had the opportunity to work in the fabric castle in the city of Cumaná, these people liked to take a carnival day for the saleswomen to show off their costumes, at that time was when I dressed as Jasmine from the series Aladdin and this was really relaxing because I was in slippers all day in that place, also several of my customers took pictures with me and the rest of the team, That was a great party that ended in an intimate sharing with all employees, I also had the opportunity to go the day after that party to another one, but this time with the family and this was really fun, because we had to make tickets with reference to those characters, that time was the best, but today I enjoy in another way and in the company of my son who is the one who enjoys the most.
Mi experiencia con el carnaval en Venezuela.
Para finalizar puedo decir que los carnavales son una tradición venezolana que no pasa por debajo de la mesa, podemos estar muy mal, pero las comparsas siempre salen, las personas se disfrazan, las mismas juegan con agua y salen a distraer la mente un rato ya que tantos problemas hacen que las personas se sientan tristes, pero estas fiestas cambian todo.
To conclude I can say that carnivals are a Venezuelan tradition that does not pass under the table, we can be very bad, but the comparsas always go out, people dress up, they play with water and go out to distract the mind for a while because so many problems make people feel sad, but these parties change everything.
