Hello everyone,
In this post, I will be showing the results of testing the Big Beast playstyle that I mentioned in this post in my weekend rank and taking you through all the details!
I got this deck from the GUDecks website since this playstyle is so famous and I adjusted it to my owned cards!
The good thing about this playstyle is that you can easily find a good replacement for any card since it is based on having strong creatures to win the game!
So let's jump right into it!
The deck:
This is the final deck that I used for my 25 matches and as you can see it is very cheap and common but holding strong creatures!
Starting rank:
I started the weekend rank from solar gold with the hopes of reaching back mythic at the end of it.
Especially since I had high confidence with this deck and also the playstyle!
End rank:
After 25 games of constant focus I ended up in mythic!
Breakdown of each rank:
Solar Gold:
Matchups Win(s)/Matches Win Rate
Light 0/0
Death 1/1
Nature 3/4
Mage 1/1
War 2/2
Deception 0/0
Overall 7/8 87.5%
Auric Gold:
Matchups Win(s)/Matches Win Rate
Light 0/0
Death 0/0
Nature 5/6
Mage 2/3
War 2/2
Deception 1/1
Overall 10/12 88%
Solar Gold:
Matchups Win(s)/Matches Win Rate
Light 0/1
Death 0/0
Nature 1/1
Mage 1/1
War 1/2
Deception 0/0
Overall 3/5 60%
Overall:
Matchups Win(s)/Matches Win Rate
Light 0/1
Death 1/1
Nature 9/11
Mage 4/5
War 5/6
Deception 1/1
Overall 20/25 80%
So as we can see, I finished my weekend rank with an 80% win rate and 20 wins in my 25 matches! Not bad considering that this was also the maximum price for people starting in Solar Gold.
And even my mythic matches were intense and a close call so the deck can not be considered weak!
Conclusion:
So as we can see you do not need costly decks to reach mythic! There are also a lot of cheap almost free to play decks that can get you there while also having fun!
The key is to compose a synergized deck, and learn how to use and play it and you have done 90% of the work!
As long as you keep trying and improving eventually you will get wherever you want!
And for more tips about how to get the wins you want in case you just started the game check out my post here.
That was it for this deck I had a lot of fun trying it! And looking forward to try and cover the rest of the playstyle for the remaining gods of death, deception and Light!
Hope everyone has an amazing weekend and hope this deck bring you victories if you tried it!
Mad love, Peace out <3
