Be Happy, just laugh
Heyho guys, hope you all are doing well.
I was chatting with some friends the last days and we talked about a lot of stuff. Mostly what really matters in life.
Surely, everyone needs food and water and stuff like that. But we came to the result that no matter what is or happens, most important is to be happy with the own life and moments. Yeah, its hard in some situations of life, even when it gets stressful. But at the end of the days, when we go to bed, sleeping, I think, its good to reflect the day and be thankful. Even for the shitty things whichh can happen, how they say? Sometimes its a gift, sometimes a lesson.
A friend of mine told in that conversation about John Lennon. The one singer from the Beatles. Let me try to remember the story, John Lennon's mother always said to John thats its most important in life to be happy. In school he had to write about what he wanna be when growing up and he wrote happy. The teacher said to him he didn't understood the question and John Lennon's answer was, that the teacher does not understand life.
I found this story really impressive because Mr lennon was how old? Not even 10 when he said that? Idk but really young he was.
So my drawing shows an old fresh lady, with an open smile. What should represent the Alegria, life joy, no matter if you are aging.
But now enough of my thoughts for today...

step by step
This whole picture is created on my Huawei P30 smartphone. Yes, 3 days damn work with fingers no pencil. Zoomed in and out... Phew...
But I think it was good to take time with it. 3 days, lot of breaks to relax the eyes, a lot of wrong drawings til I liked it.
Its harder on the phone to do stuff like that but i am more concentrated by doing so and give at the moment more focus in. Ok, on a ordinary paper with a mechanical pencil it would take me maybe 1 day to draw, instead of 3 days, but anyway, I like to try to draw also on my phone. Its challenging on a different way.
Surely I won't draw only on it. On a laptop is more comfortable or in my sketchbook.
