Have you ever been so excited in going to your home town, not for anything but just because of the treats you are going to receive there?.
Have you ever thought about an outing or visitation and wished it occur again and again?
If no, I guess you have not tasted the Nigeria Ebiripo.
This is one of the most consumed food in western part of Nigeria, Ijebu tribe. This food is made out of cocoyam and mostly eaten with vegetable soup (Efo riro). Below is the picture of it with vegetable soup...
It's mostly consumed because of its high energy value, which eventually gives more over some other foods.
I noticed that it is very rare you will see an occasion in Ijebu town or event done by an Ijebus that Ebiripo will not be part of the food (personal observation).
EBIRIPO, One of the food that Ìjẹ̀bú can never forsake.
