Today we get to enjoy a meal together with Levi. He recently has learnt how to eat on his own and I'm super proud that I, Daddy, gets to take credit for making that happen :D
YouTube Journey DAY 15
First day of week 3 on our YouTube journey. I spent some time checking out some other intro and ending music for our videos yesterday and found some really cool ones.
YouTube has it's own music archive where you can download and use them on your videos. But they are only allowed on YouTube which is one of the reasons why I can't post my videos on DTube as it would violate the compliance agreement with YouTube and my my YouTube channel will be blocked.
Another reason why I'm not posting on DTube is because I only have 7 days to make profits off 1 video which is good if I want quick income but in the long term, I find that with the effort that I use to make each video, I want each of them to generate views throughout it's lifespan. It seems to be a better pay off to me.
I still support decentralised platforms but at the moment, for video content, YouTube is where the traffic is at which means more viewers which is the goal.
Hive still rocks regardless and I'm posting links to each blog for each video made on YouTube. I hope that this small gesture will get people to head to Hive and check it out.
Thanks to all the Hive community that supports my content on YouTube and I will continue to do what I can to direct traffic to Hive through my YouTube channel description.
HOW YOU CAN HELP US OUT
As a kids channel, YouTube restricts the comments section to comply with child protection regulations which is a good thing but because of that, the algorithm that get's a video more visible on the platform which is engagement of a channel is an uphill battle.
The way YouTube recognizes that a video is getting "engagement" is through "LIKES" and "Comments". So because we can't have comments, we're solely depending on "LIKES" for our videos to get traction.
So if you've already subscribed, your "LIKES" are super valuable to us!
