Another brand new week is here with us again and this week happens to be the very last week in April, meaning we would be entering in a new month come next week. So far so good April has brought nothing but peace within our jurisdiction and also made us taste what being free looks like, or else by now we would have been locked away never to enjoy most privileges though.
And as I keep saying for the past two weeks starting my day early has got me to spend a maximum of about two to three hours to draft a post even before I move out of home. But as I asked in my post yesterday if Day 7 of being out of lockdown would be the last of it all to enjoying free movements around.
Well fortunately for the mass and unfortunately for the rest who were of the view of going back to lockdown like we use to two weeks ago. Their prayer never came to past on we going back to a lockdown zone again. But before I get into all the details I want to start from scratch how Day 7 out of lockdown really went like.
Sunday over here was like any other day, since all church activities or anything associated with social distancing is being fit to do, and so gatherings have been on the halt. The day started off with some rains around for which I was so lucky to be out there for a task, and so I enjoyed watching the rain as they falls and keep listening to the tunes of thunder around not forgetting about the lightening around with no thunder sounds though.
As I watch from my favourite place of hanging around on one of the floors, I just captured some moments which would be used as my pictures for my posts….clean and original with a royal touch of the book. The rain at my end took over half of the day and it discouraged people to even move out of their homes. Many peeps around do not like to be roaming around when it rains.
While in these times of rain the only news I saw spreading around was the opposition government calling on the court to never allow the electoral commission of Ghana to not organized their workshop for key trainers who will be looking out to make such elections are done in a legal ways. Thw news brought up a whole lot of talks around and I don’t want to bore you out with all the details, but I know the little you need to know have been said and digested well.
Through all these times, my watch was also on checking around if our President was going to update us on issues. Around the early hours of the evening, I finally got to the release of the President in updating the entire nation on issues and to also clear the stigma many people keep feeding the novice. The time for the update was 8pm, immediately I saw the flyer, the very thing I said was we only hope his 8pm would be 8pm and not let us wait for hours.
In no time, the 8pm was up and all ears and eyes were on the President as he speak to the entire nation. In his submissions he said, we are going to extend the rule of no social gathering for two weeks which started exactly at 1am today. The President also stepped his shoes in the entire Muslims to caution themselves in this holy month of Ramadan and they should keep up with praying as individuals in order for us to battle the virus effectively.
In one of his last submissions he said made the entire country aware that we currently stand at 1550 confirmed cases, with 11 deaths and 155 recoveries. On that note I will end here, but see you around again tomorrow.
