I HAVE AN ACCOUNT AT LAST
After a few years. I was familiar with Steem a few years back, but I was unable to sign up. At the time, I had no awareness of blockchain technology or cryptocurrency.
The Steemit email was still in my inbox while I was cleaning out my inbox a few days ago. I was interested in how Steemit was doing right now. Online research led me to HIVE, which I found.
When I visited hive.blog, I noticed that many people were sharing their knowledge, interests, and life experiences. It got my attention, therefore I made the decision to create my first HIVE Blockchain account.
Why in HIVE instead of Steemit?
Additionally, I'm unsure. I just set up an account with Ecency. Regarding HIVE and Steemit, I remain confused. I still have a lot to learn about it, but I'm confident I will in the near future.
About Me
I'm Jade, a college student who enjoys cooking, eating, and traveling. I am the youngest member of the family and I live with my mother. I perform freelance work in my spare time. Given that I'm only studying online, I have plenty of time. My mom is the only one left to guide me after my dad died when I was a child.
I was born and raised in the Philippines. In the Philippines, I also work as a part-time model for local shops (small stores like fast food, etc.).
I am the one person left to care for my mother because all of my siblings have their own families. I am able to maintain my academic progress since I hold numerous part-time jobs and am not dependent on my mother for financial support. Despite coming from a poor household, we have no financial issues.
My Work
Video Editor - I do online video editing. I decide to work as a freelance video editor. Normally, I edit videos for vlogs, video games, travel, and other things. Although I am not an extremely skilled video editor, I can say that I possess a skill that most video editors have.
Freelancer - I take on freelance projects in a variety of fields, including data entry, social media management, and social media graphics creation. Since I do accept video editing work, occasionally one of my clients will ask if I can do something else.
Pizza Maker - Before, my family was well-known for baking pizza. I learned how to bake a fantastic pizza from my mum. As my mother mentioned, we used to run a pizza shop, but it closed down after my dad died. Even though we are still making pizza, we are only accepting on a small number of customers. We don't have a store, but I plan to open one someday, and it will be the best present I could give to my mother.
My hobbies
I enjoy traveling and taking pictures of myself. However since the pandemic, I'm unable to do that. There are numerous restrictions in different locations. With my academics, I'm also too busy, however when I do have some free time. I go to certain areas that are accessible to the public.
I'm a Girl Gamer
I like playing games like Genshin Impact, League of Legends, and Call of Duty. Playing online games helps me relax. Every day for an hour, I do play video games for enjoyment.
