Hello everyone,
A Thai friend of mine married a Japanese guy and just moved to a new house a few months ago. They invited me and some other friends to have lunch with them.
Their house is in Kyoto, far from the train station, but it is a pretty peaceful and calm area. Their house is Japanese style with a renovated interior that is modern and unique. I like the corner of the kitchen. There is a small counter there connecting to a table. It feels like you are sitting in a restaurant and all dishes will be served to you directly.😆
We got a warm welcome some food they had prepared. All the dishes were Thai food, such as Som Tum or papaya salad, Kapaow squid or spicy stirred squid, and red curry. For Thai people who live aboard, I’m sure they would be happy like me.
We had some free time after having lunch together, so we enjoyed it by taking some photos. Look at the pictures, I'm not lying to you.😊
Coffee Break With A Game
My friend and I bought some sweets. There were 6 of them but only 4 of us. That meant 2 people would have to get 2 of the sweets. So we played the rock-paper-scissors game to see who would get them. Have you ever done it? Rock beats scissors, scissors beats paper, and paper beats rock. Finally, we shared all of the sweets.
I’m thankful my friend invited me. I hope to see them again some time and share another good story here.
