OCD's support is expanding!
Hello everyone! This is the 94th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.
This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.
How this Works
OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.
This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.
Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

Community: BEER

This week we decided to have a pizza night with friends, and of course, we didn't do without some delicious beer. It was a fun "serial" selection. My wife, being a big fan of "Supernatural", got herself a three bottles of Bud (the Winchester brothers' favorite beer), while I decided to continue my acquaintance with the products of Volkov Brewery and took three bottles of their lager Firefly (Svetyachok), whose name resonates with my favorite fantasy series with Nathan Fillion.

I love to prepare snacks for my family, very little we eat industrial sweets and there is nothing I like more than preparing cookies because they are perfect for a bite after breakfast or for a snack. These homemade oatmeal cookies with banana are super easy to prepare and the best thing is that they are crunchy so if you love cookies, I invite you to encourage yourself to prepare them.

As mentioned, I have experienced a few unexpected acts of generosity or kindness from strangers. One is when I was waiting for a bus at night. It was around 8 pm and I haven't eaten dinner yet. My tummy was already growling and wanted me to feed it. Suddenly, an old lady approached me and gave me a small plastic pack of fried peanuts. At first, I thought she was selling me the peanuts. I was so confused and asked her if it was for sale and how much. She just smiled and gave another one to the other guy who was also waiting for the bus and left. I was hesitant to eat because of the covid scare and the constant reminder of our parents of not talking or accepting things from strangers. Nevertheless, her small gesture just made my day. I can't help but share it with my friends and family for my experience.

I was 36 years old before I learned of the United States Colored Troops of the U.S. Civil War ... they were approximately 1/10th of the Union army, 1/11th of the casualties, and were essential to victory according to both Abraham Lincoln and General Ulysses S. Grant ... listen to learn more and hear the songs preserved, for they were singers of the famous Negro Spirituals ...

Community: THE WEEKEND

It’s Saturday night and I’m tired because I walked a 9km hike on the mountain this morning and then had a late family lunch this afternoon to celebrate my birthday that was this week, but I didn’t get to dry my hair before lunch because our “awesome” government can’t get our electricity sorted out fast enough so we had Loadshedding for the 2 hours that I needed to get my self sorted out before lunch. LONGEST SENTENCE EVER!!! But I had to just get it all out there.

The same thing goes for thumbnail images. Viewers have seen photos of plants, or animals, or people literally millions of times in their lives. If you just half-a$$ a photo for a thumbnail, you’ll blend in with all the other ‘fluff’ out there. But if you put some time, care, energy, and effort into your image, you may be able to snap people out of their scrolling to stop and click.

Like my previous works, here I present another musical concept to relax and give you a little well-being and tranquility, an anti stress Beat that I just made at FL Studio 20, with a lot of love, I hope you enjoy it. You can use this beat, but don't forget to mention me if you upload it, doing so would help me a lot and I will be very grateful.

I have decided to write about peace because I feel like my life these past few weeks have been so chaotic and out of control. The series of deadlines have caused me to be anxious and restless. By writing about achieving peace, I hope to help myself have a more peaceful experience moving forward. And in the process, I hope I am also able to extend my help to anyone who needs to have a more peaceful life.

Community: CineTV

For today's edition of my ongoing series about recommendable TV shows, I'd like to present a series that I breezed through in a matter of no time, making it seem like a glimpse of memory, even though it had full six seasons with a total of 53 (albeit 25 minute) episodes. The reason for such passionate binge-watching was not the deep philosophical or sociopolitical concepts analyzed in the show, nor was it the breathtaking suspense or intricate story-line ... none of that can be said about this series. It was simply the fact that I got to laugh... A LOT! And that alone is worth the mention.

Community: Psychology

I noticed there is no active mental-health community here. So I thought I'd start one and see what happens. Others seem to have attempted this in the past with C/Psychology Now and C/Mental Health so maybe there's no great demand. But I see a lot of relevant content floating around on here with nowhere to collect it together. Perhaps the timing is right and this could be a welcome addition to the hive ecosystem.
This concludes this batch's curation report. We would like to congratulate those who are featured and supported. Keep up the good work and continue to explore Hive Communities.
