If you are looking for a classic HK dessert shop, this is your place. This was not my first time at Honeymoon Dessert and I am always satisfied with their quality. The interior is clean and truly modern which is great as the tables are far enough from everyone to talk to their friends and have a good time.
We got the strawberry tiramisu cheese sorbet which was interesting in a good way. With every bite, there was a new surprise from the crunchy corn flakes to the shaved iced. When I got to the tiramisu level, my taste buds just EXPLODED! The fresh strawberries brought it all home as it was both fresh and juicy.
I got to try the signature fresh fruit black tea as well. I got 50% sugar and less ice as the flavors from the fruit truly give it a natural sweetness that does not require any additional sugar. There was a vast variety of fruits from passionfruit, lemons, apples, limes, oranges, and watermelon. It is perfect for summer and truly quenches you down.
My typical order includes the mango pomelo sago with grass jelly as it is both sweet and tarte. The mango is a great complement to the pomelo. With the mix of sago and grass jelly, you are truly in for a textural experience.
