Socrates was a character. That's for sure. He may have had a point about remembering things. We can train our minds if we use them. And your mother may have a point. Now I don't even know my husband's phone number because I just push a button.
I hate GPS. Don't like anything making choices for me. It has it's uses, but I always feel I'm at the mercy of the GPS when I travel. I look everything up on a map before I go anywhere new. Then I memorize the way. It's fun and I actually know where I'm going. Maybe GPS helps with traffic.
As for the words under the picture. Learned that from . The notation < followed by the word sub followed by notation > to start. Then I italicize with asterisk* to make the words smaller. Close with asterisk *, followed by notation <, followed by / followed by the word sub followed by notation >.
