Let's Make a Collage - A Contest for All Creatives on Hive - Round 74 - ✨124 HIVE in the Prize Pool!
When deciding what content I want my blog to include, I like it to be diverse. I love writing fiction. However, I'm also competitive. I like to participate in challenges and contests. I don't feel as though I'm super creative. I do manage to come up with some surprise contest entries. I've even won a few. But it's not whether I manage to win. There are numerous members on Hive who are extremely creative in all types of mediums.
So I enter several photography contest when time allows. Collages are especially fun. One of my favorite collage contest I like is Let's Make a Collage (LMAC) run by . In this challenge,
provides a photograph for all participants' use in creating your own collage.
For my current collage entry this week, I started with the photograph provided by . The image is a lovely background of flowers with a single lobster in the foreground sitting on a piece of wood.
My first thought was that it was lonely and needed company. I decided to leave the photo exactly the same and only add additional images to it to describe the scene I envisioned.

My favorite tool to use in creating my collages is Canva.
I uploaded the contest photo into Canva. I like using Canva for my collages because it's easy to maneuver and manipulate the photos. That program contains numerous free photos you can use.
Following the contest rules, I added additional images below to the Canva image to complete my collage. I recently purchased a PRO membership at Canva because I loved the premium images, backgrounds and templates that came with the membership. Additionally, one of the features in a premium membership is the ability to remove backgrounds. This feature is especially nice to have since the free sites that offer removal of backgrounds, but the manual manipulation is tedious.

Now my collage is complete with a friend and drinks to get the party started. On the drink menu is your favorite flavor of Margarita!
Below is the final result.
