SteemAuto is the beloved tool that so many of us have used for a long time to automatically vote for bloggers we like here on Hive/Steem, and also, to follow curation trails and more. But, there have been quite a lot of changes recently, leading to SteemAuto actually leaving the Steem platform once and for all. Meaning, there is no more SteemAuto on Steem.
But, there is more. When the fork happened, all the actions that you had set on Steem, would automatically continue running on Hive, but then you would administer it from the address http://hive.vote/. Now, that is really cool, but recently they made some quite big changes here, and something that it took me some days to realize myself.
What are the changes?
By default, you will now only vote 2 a day for the people you are a fan of, and it has also been set default to two votes a week. In other words, you will need to change these settings manually if you want to vote more than twice a week for those people you love and enjoy the most on the Hive platform.
Above you can see an image showing the new options of weekly limit and also the daily limit option. Make sure to change these if you want to vote more than twice for any users weekly.
This is actually important, especially if you also want to earn a passive income by voting (also when away and not being active).
Keep up the good work all you Project Hope members and everyone active in the community. If you have further thoughts, help, experiences, or comments, write them below.
