After spending a fun and relaxing day at the beach, my wife and I thought to extend our weekend by having a bbq with a friend in our building.
We brought over our mini grill and steak 🥩 (which I marinated in olive oil, lemon juice & seasoned with black pepper).
I also baked zucchini & sweet potatoes in the oven & my wife made rice. Our friend shared with us a bottle of red wine which we enjoyed with this fiery sunset.
As the light was dying out, we moved indoors & listened to some jazz (Nina Simone’s Please, don’t let me be misunderstood was a highlight).
Then, we curled up on the sofa & watched a couple episodes of the latest Netflix series that we’re binging on, Hannibal.
The acting, writing & cinematography are gripping. If you can take the gruesome subject matter —-murder & cannibalism —- I recommend it :o
