I just finished a 4.48km hike that lasted about 1hh:0mm:0ss!
Here in Brisbane we have a public holiday which meant that my partner had the day off work. I love it when he's home as I get company while I work on my business stuff, my Hive stuff, my exercise and my study - all the things!
Since we've been on Hive he's somewhat into (read: already addicted to :P) Splinterlands but prior to entering the wonderful world of blockchain, Pokemon was his go-to game. He still occasionally goes searching for poke stops. In fact, he wanted to do that this morning so we thought we'd turn it into a walk and talk.
We killed two birds with one stone. (<---- Such an awful saying. Anyone know a kinder, gentler one that means the same thing; achieving two goals with the same amount of effort/time?) Hmmm, actually it was more like five things; we got outside, we did some exercise, we had time to chat and connect, he collected pokemon AND I recorded an activity I could use for Exhaust. Yay!
We also saw a kookaburra while we were in the bush. There's so much wildlife in the big chunk of bush near our house I don't think we've ever done a walk where we haven't seen at least one bird, or a lizard, or a wallaby. We're so lucky and I'm grateful every day.
Here's a photo of my watch. I use a Garmin Vivo Active 3. I really like it. I've had it for several years and I plan to keep it until it breaks (none of these endless upgrades for me!). It gets the job done and I feel like the white colour is quite feminine, so even though it's very big, it still looks great <3
