I just finished a 50.509km cycling that lasted about 1hh:32mm:7ss !
It looks like a joke, but in reality it is much harder than it would seem at first glance. The first couple of intervals are almost imperceptible and then fatigue begins to accumulate as breaks between intervals are not enough for full recovery. In addition, each interval brings either a couple of watts of higher load or a few tens of seconds longer duration. The last two intervals I literally screamed inside myself from fatigue. Those 160 watts were harder for me than 400 in the sprint ...
