I just finished a 13.432km running that lasted about 1hh:19mm:4ss !
Yesterday was quite busy, but I still wanted to do my regular weekly long run. It may rain later, but it was good for running this morning. I decided to try going a little further than other recent runs. It started with the usual route up to and around Fairfield before striking out along the road.
I am not a great fan of running near roads, so I turned off onto the track by Standalone farm that takes me to the Greenway. That did mean climbing the big hill. I struggled near the top and there was 92m total climbing on this run according to Strava. I was okay back on the flat and then I had plenty of downhill running.
I came back through Stotfold and took some back streets there. I saw a few other runners and at least one of them passed me twice going the other way around a similar loop. I also saw a black squirrel at Fairfield.
My podcast listening was interviews with guitarist Paul Gilbert and comedian Barry Cryer.
I have a few chores to do today including cleaning out the chickens and putting the pool away.
Run free and stay well.
