🥇 1st place:

🥈 2nd place:
Again stippling! This time a portrait of a frog. This is a masterclass in patience, transforming a simple subject into a captivating study of texture and presence. By utilizing Faber-Castell fine-liners of varying thicknesses, you’ve achieved a remarkable tonal range that breathes life into the creature, particularly in the glossy, soulful depth of the eyes and the soft, organic undulations of its skin. The decision to use grainy watercolor paper was inspired, as the natural tooth of the surface catches the light and complements the thousands of individual dots, creating a sense of "shimmer" that a smoother paper would lack. It is a beautiful example of how a meditative process can yield a result that feels both technically precise and incredibly gentle, inviting the viewer into a shared moment of quiet, focused stillness.
🥉 3rd place:
This piece is a strikingly imaginative and gritty work of social commentary, cleverly personifying modern systemic frustrations into a formidable dark fantasy villain. The visual execution of Apa-Góng—with his shadowy, amorphous body and sinister, sharp-toothed grin—perfectly captures the "psychic devourer" persona you’ve described. I particularly love the symbolic use of color; by using green and red to represent specific real-world "tribes" like UNE and ETECSA, you’ve turned a character study into a powerful narrative about the struggle for connectivity and light. The raw, charcoal-like texture created with your improvised tools adds a sense of chaotic energy to the darkness, making the hourglass and the glowing earrings stand out as haunting focal points. It’s a creative and bold way to channel everyday struggles into compelling, character-driven art.
