Cycling for fitness and wellness: my experience.
Hello everyone, good day, welcome to my blog. I wish to share my experience of cycling around my community using my bicycle.
Cycling is one of the sporting activities that helps keep the body fit and well. Besides, Jogging, which I do every morning, I also cycle to places within my city. I cycle to school, work and other places. These I do routinely. These activities have kept me fit for so many years. I can not remember the last time I fell sick nor did I take medication for any illness whatsoever.
How cycling has helped my life over the years
I work in another city outside the city where I reside. It's a long distance journey of about 5 miles. I do spend about $20 every month on transportation to work. It was a huge amount of money for me. Especially when my country is going through exponential inflation. So I had to save up money and buy a bicycle as recommended by a colleague at work when I complained to him about the cost transportation daily, which I planned to resigned
My response
I saw it with him and decided to get a bicycle last year. It cost me $50 to buy a new bicycle and I was so proud to be among the bike owners in my city. I started using my bike to work and it saved me some amount of money. The challenges I had initially were pains in my legs and entire body but I had to endure it.
Over the years, cycling has kept me fit every day, my productivity level at work has increased and I am receiving positive feedback from my boss. My thinking ability has also increased. Unlike before, I come up with solutions to challenges immediately when it gets to my office. These and many more are the changes I have observed since I started cycling.
On a final note
When I shared this experience with my friend, he thought of getting his new bike by the end of next month. Also, I am thinking of getting a bicycle for my dad too to cycle at least every morning to keep fit and be well. I recommend cycling to everyone who might want to keep fit and be productive in life and at work. It is one of the simplest forms of exercises one can carry out daily.
