I was actually roaming through the #ecotrain and #nature tagpostscheck some interesting posts to read and ponder on but I couldn't get one, I felt so disappointed that I almost gave up on writing the topic for this week but luckily, I came across the most interesting post written by which he titled The Miracle of the Disappearing Cloud' - ecoTrain QOTW #9.3.
Reading down to his story, he talked about how he tried talking to Josh about God and how Josh said he did not believe God existed. To prove if God existed, he asked Josh to ask for a sign.
He finally came up with the best sign which was the disappearing cloud which happened miraculously and the second day, when he realized that Josh was still in doubt, they had to ask for another sign, and this time around, it worked.
His story got me smiling because I just was imagining how it felt when God decides to wrath miracles through our hands to let others know that He exists.
His poem is eye-opening, where he wrote,
MIRACLES
They happen every moment
In the spaces between
The doldrums of life
Miracles
Eyes wide open
My mind disengaged
There’s magic to be found
On this crazy stage
When you've seen it once
You will see it again
Twice, Thrice
The miracles never end
Life is precious
Can be momentous
Or nothing at all
It is your choice
His poem made me realize that miracles happen every day of our living, it's just that, most times, they are just too little or even insignificant for us to realize that what just took place was a miracle.
What caught my attention in his post was this write-up.
We are all divine beings, and each of us, when unraveled, has the potential to have great divine power. All of us can indeed perform what we call miracles. If we are God, or at least a part of all that is, then why should we not be able to perform them?
Indeed we are little gods, and as such, we have the ability and power in Christ Jesus to do miracles. We were created by God and during creation, He put in us everything we need to live for His glory, it's just that many of us never realize what we've got embedded in us and indeed God can use anything to reveal himself or show his signs to us.
This week's questions says;
What do you think about nature? How nature is helping you realize its importance? Why should we be close to nature? What are the natural phenomena you like? Why ? .... etc.
Well, it's no doubt that everything we see, feel and touch is all nature until man decided to build technology, and no technology made by man is built without the application of nature.
I would love to give a few examples of a few technologies made by a man they were originated from nature itself.
CARS
I never realized the frontal shape of a car most especially the old modern were in form of a fish until I sat down one day to look closer, only then did I realize that the concept of the frontal shape of a car came from the shape of a fish.
Airplane
Also, the concept or creativity behind an airplane is in form of a flying bird. There are more technology whose creativity or concept came from nature.
And this also means that nature is everywhere and in everything we see because man can not do without nature.
Imagine a life without this beautiful nature we see around us, it would be boring. Can you see the stars, the moon, the sun, and even the clouds, how they react on their own accord makes life interesting. The morning knows when to dawn and the night sure knows when to appear for everyone to know what time of the day it is.
The bird knows when to start chirping, the hen knows when to crow, the goat knows when to bleat, the cat knows when to come out of hiding and when to retreat.
They all do these things at a set time without colliding with each other. The truth remains that no matter how modernized the world is revolving, it can never do without nature. No matter the number of technologies built, nature will also find its place in that technology because everything revolves around nature.
Every human must be close to nature because nature teaches one the in-depth lessons about life that words can not explain. Nature makes us appreciate ourselves more and the essence of living.
Nature helps us to be thankful to the supreme being who created us in His image. Nature reveals to us more the beauty in the earth the journalists, the adventurous, and book writers who write about the world can not tell us no matter how hard they try. Books can not explain the beauty of nature and that is why we must get closer. Nature inspires one and gives one a sense of belonging.
Many times I have sat down to look up at the clouds and it always makes me awe because I am always surprised how it changes in a second and minutes. I remember when we were kids, I used to believe that the cloud is moving, maybe it is, I wouldn't know but I am so much in love with the cloud.
I thought I had seen all the nature until I came across the picture of a chameleon. Imagine an animal that changes colour according to its surroundings and a peacock isn't left out in the list of nature that takes me off balance.
Without nature, life would have been meaningless and boring for one life in because nature inspires one and can lighten one's mood
Thanks for reading!!
