Trust is simply believing in something or someone that they will not hurt you, letting someone take the lead believing that they will do what is right by you. It is making yourself to be vulnerable to something or someone.
And it become dangeeous when you trust the wrong people. I have had my own fair share of trusting the wrong people but that will be a story for another day.
Let me tell you what happens to one of my good friend after our Nysc
His uncle whom he trusted and respect alot called him one day, and told him that he received a called from his pastor and since my friend was seriously looking for work that there is a Federal Government job opening(an inside replacement) that he should apply.
Without a second thought, he requested the pastor's contact to start processing for the job.
On the other hand, someone called the pastor telling him that he is Mr B, thanking him for praying for him (Mr B) when he needed job the most and God has now blessed him, so in the spirit of showing the pastor appreciation, he should send a name of one person close to him for a job. And since this pastor knew he has been praying for alot of people in his congregation, he believed him.
This was how my friend get in contact with Mr B for a non existing federal Government job.
After requesting for my friend credentials, and fills all his information. Mr B told my friend to pay a sum of 20,000 Naira of which he paid willingly. After the payment Mr B block my friend from contacting him uptill today.
What is the genesis of my friend losing his money? Trusting the wrong person. This is someone who is ever careful when dealing with people but because of the trust he had for his uncle, he let his guard down.
The story above is just one out of many who has lost their hard earn money just because they trust the wrong person.
Should One Not Trust people?
Absolutely not, but make sure you really know and sure of the kind of people you trust, don't give your trust to people instead let them earn it.
Trust is a fragile thing which one should guide jealously because when trust is broken it is very hard to regain.
Trust Issue
Trust issue is an other great problem in our world today. There are people who will never trust you no matter how good you are to them.
This can happens if someone had betrayed them in the past and they did not know how to forgive themselves for what happens and let it go.
This kind of people are very hard to relate with because they no longer trust themselves talk more of trusting anyone else and whatever you do with them they will always suspects you for things you didn't do. Such people need help to heal and be better.
Trust is a solid foundation on which any good relationship is build upon.
No relationship can last without trust.
How To Be Trusted
-Always be consistent with your words.
-Don't promise things you can no do
-always say what you mean and mean the things you said.
-lastly, when you talk to people, try and speak from your heart they will trust you more and love you for who you are.
Trust is like an egg, when is broken it can never be repack and remain the same. So take care of those who put their trust in you.
If we love and cares for one another, we will always try not brake each other's trust because it can be really hurting to those at the receiving ends. And when someone broke our trust is better we find a way to heal instead of transfering our hurts.
Trust is a good thing but bad people just takes advantage of it some of the times. The world needs to have more trust in one another.
And just like 
I believe when we stay together as brothers, we will have a very peaceful world to live. let us practice the kind of Love, Joseph, Uriah, Jesus Christ and many great characters in the bible practiced and we will have a very peaceful world to live in.
