Cooked an amazing beef stew the other day for our staff dinner. It's how I usually make beef stew but just with an added ingredient made it taste different and was so deep and earthy - morel mushrooms.
A type of mushroom on the pricier side but it really is worth the price considering how much depth of flavor this adds to the dish. Just look at the depth of color it gave to the end product. Absolutely amazing color and flavor!
Since I love cooking and eating stews, I've got to say, this one is one of the best I ever made. It really was so hearty, comforting, and absolutely satisfying!
I also made some mince chicken omelet and since one of our staff doesn't take beef, I made him a simple cajun chicken patty. It's a recipe I use to use for my own business when I was selling burgers.
Really glad everyone enjoyed the meal which is really nice to know especially when you've made the effort to cook and prepare a meal.
