How's My Week Been?
I'm grateful. Gratitude has become a game-changer for me. It transforms simple-looking days into grand ones. Case in point, whenever I am at a cafe drinking expensive coffee, I am thankful because I used to be unable to afford this when I was a college senior. Another example would be when I eat delicious kinds of food, I am thankful, remembering how we used to only eat "simple" food when I was a child because it's what our parents can give us. I have been blessed with far more than I could ask for even though I am unworthy of all these blessings and it makes my heart swell with gratitude and love.
Have you been thankful today? One challenge would be to turn your complaint into thanksgiving. For example, you may hate your job. Why not be thankful that you have a job in the first place? π You can begin your gratitude journey today and see your life change! π¦
Thank you, by the way, for taking the time to be here and read my blog. I appreciate you. π
Today's post is all about the activities I have been up to the past few days, which I am grateful for. πΌ
Hive Meeting for Newbies and Celebrations!
Here is a photo collage of the meeting-in-session. I took these photos while everyone was engrossed with the meeting. π
The coverage of the meeting was more about "The Newbies' Guide into Hive". Our active two onboarding leaders and
explained the PowerPoint presentation while the newbies listened intently.
I have discussed these points in detail in my previous blog post you can find here: The Successful First-Ever Hive Meet-Up of my Co-Teachers | Hive Cebu Bloggers' Community is a Growing Family! π€

Around Cebu City
I had to do groceries because we did not have food at home. It's a good thing my Mama trusts me with the grocery shopping even though there are times I go overboard and way beyond the budget. π
Around the Cebu Provincial Capitol πΊ As I stood there waiting for a jeepney, I cannot resist taking photos of these gorgeous blooms. How can anyone just pass by without noticing, right? π
The heart of Cebu City--Fuente OsmeΓ±a Circle π I took photos of the iconic Fuente Osmena of Cebu as I walked on the overpass. It was such a good day and the sky and the sun make everything so radiant. π
Cebu City, Philippines π΄βοΈ There's no traffic jam yet as this was taken around 1:00 PM-ish and the midday sun was melting ice creams everywhere, and people aren't going out yet because it was too hot, I suppose. βοΈ
Fancy Christmas-y decors in Bricklane Donut π
The sister caught in the act buying donuts lol. π Bricklane Donut is located in Escario, Cebu City. π© We bought donuts last Saturday, for desserts. π π
It was a coffee night date with the ladies after our unli-samgyupsal feast. π
You know it's a good cuppa coffee when you see one.βοΈ
I Finally Tried JEJU Samgyupsal!
It was a MonDATE! ππ I was craving for unlimited samgyupsal and it was good that my sister and HCBC-sisters were, too! π Jeju Samgyupsal is one of the newest samgyupsal places in Cebu City. This Restaurant is located at Unit 1, Nicrek Center, F. Cabahug St., Kasambagan, Mabolo, Cebu City, and they are open from 11am to 10pm. You may check out their official Facebook page for more details. π
I took photos of the place.

How was my Jeju Experience?
I paid 399 PHP (roughly 19.33 US dollars) for the unlimited samgyupsal (pork) and unlimited side dishes. As I am a fan of samgyupsal, I can say that the 399 was worth it! I was so full after eating and their side dishes were delicious. They served two kinds of meat (think and thick) and every time we ran out of sides or pork slices, the crew are quick to assist us. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who's also a fan of Korean food. Wink, winkπ
Chef Kristel's Let's Roll Sushi Bake
I missed the food tasting and the first collaboration of community with Chef Kristel. But good thing I was able to get a taste of the famous sushi bake last Saturday during the monthsary celebration and today as well, as Ms Gil gave my unni Rica take-home sushi last night during Bobby's Birthday Party. Thank you so much for these yummy yum-yum,

I Ate the Sushi Bake at home Today~! π
My Sushi Bake today: One is California Maki and the other is Tuna ππ
I am a person who is not afraid to try a variety of cuisine. I have started to love Japanese food last 2018 when I was a sales agent and had frequent lunches and dinners weekly. For Let's Roll Sushi Bake, what I love about it is the flavourful and authentic Japanese taste of both the maki and the tuna. π
I would definitely order some when I crave and would recommend these to my Japanese cuisine-loving friends, they'd love these for sure. π
It's been quite a busy week. In all the hustle and bustle of the daily grind, let's take a pause and be grateful for the air in our lungs, the food on our table, the job that provides us with our daily needs, the sometimes annoying people who love us anyway, the house we live in, the water we drink... I could go on, but you get the picture. Let's spread gratitude and sprinkle 'em like magic fairy dust.β¨β¨
βTil the next post, hivers! Remember that you are loved beyond borders and beyond time & space. Okay? Okay. πβ€οΈ
Ciao for now! π€π₯°
