At this stage of our lives, prioritizing our health is our consistent routine.
Every afternoon, we'd head upstairs to get some exercise.
Our go-to activity was jumping rope.
This jumping rope was a thoughtful gift.
It's actually a high-quality jumping rope that was so fun to use and very effective for staying active and healthy.
We were grateful for our friend, and so we incorporated it into our daily routine. 😅
As we were doing our jumping rope session, my little one watched, standing in his walker.
He'd try to mimic us, reaching out to grab the rope and figure out how it worked.
And so we give it to him.
However, things didn't quite go as planned.
Instead of jumping, he picked up the rope and...
Started eating it!
Yeah. It turns out our little one is at that curious stage where everything becomes a potential snack. 🤭
So the jumping rope, intended for exercise, became an impromptu "meal". 😆
After that, time for a real snack break!
A warm cup of coffee and a baked sweet potato were our perfect treats.
We savored it, chatted about our day, shared stories, and laughed.
And that's how our day went.
We stored the rope away and felt satisfied with the exercise we just completed.
