Today I would like to talk to you about MASKO furniture city, which is the furniture capital of the world and located in Istanbul. Yes, as mentioned in its advertisement, this is the biggest site area where furniture manufacturers exporting to every country in the world come together. All companies in Turkey that produce and trade above a certain level are present here. This is a market where the highest quality productions and products are found.
There are not only companies that provide production and service to the whole of Turkey, but there are also many private companies whose names are known only here and that only work with exportation abroad. These people only work abroad. Of course, when the situation is furniture, decoration and home design, the companies interested in this have a very high quality in their exterior building designs. While I was visiting my cousins who are dealing with the packaging business here, I also wanted to share with you a few photos from the general appearance of MASKO. I didn't want to throw out the whole MASKO, just the images that coincided with my frame while passing a section of the street.

Bugün sizlere Dünya'nın mobilya başkenti olan ve İstanbul'da bulunan MASKO mobilya kentinden bahsetmek istiyorum. Evet, burası kendi reklamında bahsedildiği gibi, dünyanın her ülkesine ihracat yapan mobilyacıların birarada bulunduğu en büyük site bölgesi. Türkiye'de bulunan ve belirli bir seviyenin üstünde üretim ve ticaret yapan tüm firmalar burada mevcut. En kaliteli üretimlerin ve ürünlerin bulunduğu bir pazar burası.
Sadece tüm Türkiye'ye üretim ve hizmet sağlayan firmalar yok, aynı zamanda ismi sadece burada bilinen ve sadece yurt dışına ihracatla çalışan birçok özel firma var. Bu kişiler sadece yurtdışı olarak çalışıyor. Tabi durum mobilya, dekorasyon ve ev tasarımı olunca bununla ilgilenen firmaların kendi dış bina tasarımları da bir hayli kaliteli oluyor. Ben de burada ambalaj işiyle uğraşan kuzenlerimi ziyaret etmişken aynı zamanda size MASKO'nun genel görünümünden birkaç fotoğraf atarak paylaşım yapmak istedim. Tüm MASKO'yu değil, sadece bir cadde bölümünü geçerken kadrajıma denk gelen görselleri atmak istedim.
There is a wide variety of building designs here. For example; Like this Fınn Architects housed in a small annex. They have made a very nice bird design for the window that looks out. They used two different images of the Phoenix. Who knows; maybe it is a company that has come to the point of bankruptcy before, and then re-established and came to the stage of rise. Because in general, they always use the Phoenix for this reason. For the Phoenix, it is always depicted as a bird with red feathers. But it would be nice to use different color tones for this unreal fairy-tale bird. Blue and red tones look good here.
Burada çok çeşitli bina tasarımları var. Örneğin; Küçük bir ek binada yer alan bu Fınn Mimarlık gibi. dışarı bakan vitrin kısmına gayet güzel bir kuş tasarımı yapmışlar. Anka kuşunun iki farklı görselinden faydalanmışlar. Kim bilir; belkide daha önceden batma noktasına gelmiş sonradan tekrar kurulup yükselme aşamasına gelmiş bir firmadır. Çünkü Anka kuşunu genel olarak hep bu sebep için kullanırlar. Anka kuşu için hep kırmızı tüylere sahip olan bir kuş olarak betimlenir. Fakat gerçek olmayan bu masalsı kuş için farklı renk tonlarınıda kullanmak güzel olur. Burada mavi ve kırmızı tonları gayet güzel duruyor.
There is a street between every two blocks in the city of MASKO furniture. Also, behind each block is the rear of the other block, and there are loading and unloading places at the back. In other words, two blocks are standing in a row, while their front faces the street. In this way, while the front entrances of two opposite blocks are located on each street, the rear parts are kept smaller and reserved for material entry and exit. At some midpoints; Direction signs showing the locations of the blocks have been placed.
The city of MASKO furniture manufacturers has a very large area. It is a place with its own mosque, shopping center, post office branch, large markets and restaurants. It's kind of like a free trade zone. Turkey; at very important points in furniture and textile production. In fact, we can say that these two sectors are almost in the first place.
Furniture prices are quite high here. Because this place does not appeal to the middle class, it is a place that appeals to the upper class. For this reason, there are high quality and luxury productions. In fact, the price of a furniture we looked at with my cousin was approximately 1 million Turkish liras. At the same time, this place is like a kind of constantly active furniture fair. Of course, they attend fairs in other places, but this is a place with the same fair standards.
MASKO mobilya kentinde her iki blok arasında bir sokak vardır. Ynı zamanda her bloğun arkasında diğer bloğun arka kısmı var ve arka kısımlarında malzeme indirme ve bindirme yerleri var. Yani iki blok arka arkaya dururken ön taraflarıda caddeye bakıyor. Bu şekilde her caddede karşılıklı iki bloğun ön girişleri yer alırken arka kısımları ise daha küçük tutulmuş ve malzeme giriş çıkışı için ayrılmış. Bazı orta noktalarda; blokların yerlerini gösteren yön tabelaları yerleştirilmiş.
MASKO mobilyacılar kentinin çok büyük bir alanı var. Kendi camisi alışveriş merkezi, postane şubesi, büyük marketleri ve lokantalarının da bol olduğu bir yer. Bir nevi serbest ticaret bölgesi gibi. Türkiye; mobilya ve tekstil üretiminde çok önemli noktalarda. Hatta bu iki sektörde neredeyse ilk sıralarda diyebiliriz.
Mobilya fiyatlarıda bir hayli yüksek burada. Çünkü burası orta kesime hitap etmiyor, tamamen üst kesime hitap eden bir yer. Bu sebeple son derece kaliteli ve lüks üretimler mevcut. Hatta kuzenimle baktığımız bir mobilya fiyatı yaklaşık olarak 1 milyon Türk lirasıydı. Aynı zamanda burası bir çeşit sürekli aktif halde bulunan mobilya fuarı gibi. Başka yerlerde fuarlara katılıyorlar elbet ama burasıda aynen fuar standartlarına sahip bir yer.
MASKO management has set up a very small poultry house here. Among the poultry, there are geese and ducks. Of course, there are pets in MASKO hosted by many companies. One of them is ornamental dogs. But MASKO is mostly a place that hosts cats.
Exterior building designs are very nice. It is a place where architecture is in a race. For each newly designed building, the owner creates a visual that will be more effective than the others.
The exterior design is also very nice. Garbage containers are placed in a separate section. In the early hours of the morning, garbage trucks come and clean. It has large sitting areas. Many places are reserved in the green area. Ornamental trees - real trees - in green areas are shaped into various shapes.
MASKO has six large entrance doors. Each door is made available for the arrival and departure of vehicles. The top view of MASKO looks like an oval rectangle. While there is only one door each on the upper and lower parts of the rectangle, which resembles the short sides, there are two doors on each side of the rectangle, which are the long sides. The 1st and 2nd gates are on the side of the Istanbul TEM Highway. In general, these are the two of the busiest entrances and exits. The third door is in the part that I describe as the fore side. The 4th and 5th gates are on the side of the Organized Industrial Zones. Here, in the Başakşehir district, are the organized industrial zones of the European side of Istanbul. This is a district designed for industrial zones.
MASKO yönetimi burada çok küçük bir kümes kurmuş. Kümes hayvanlarından kazlar ve ördekler bulunuyor. Tabi MASKO içerisinde birçok firmanın ev sahipliği yaptığı evcil hayvanlarda var. Bunların başında süs köpekleri geliyor. Fakat MASKO daha çok kedilere ev sahipliği yapan bir yer.
Dış bina tasarımları gayet güzeldir. Tamamen mimarinin yarış içerisinde olduğu bir yer. Her yeni tasarlanan bir bina için, bina sahibi diğerlerinden daha etkili olacak bir görsel yapıyor.
Dış çevre tasarımıda gayet güzel. Çöp konteynırları ayrı bir bölüm içerisine yerleştirilmiş. Sabah erken saatlerde çöp kamyonları gelip temizlik yapıyor. geniş oturma alanlarıda mevcut. Yeşil alan içinde birçok yer ayırtılmış. Yeşil alanlarda bulunan süs ağaçları -gerçek ağaçlar- çeşitli şekillere büründürülmüş.
MASKO'nu altı büyük giriş kapısı var. Her kapı araçlarının gipiş çıkışı için müsait hale getirilmiş. MASKO'nun yukarıdan görünüşü oval bir dikdörtgen gibi. Dikdörtgenin kısa kenarlarını andıran yukarı vea aşağı kesimlerinde sadece birer kapı var iken, dikdörtgenin uzun kenarları olan her iki yanında ise ikişer kapı bulunuyor. 1. ve 2. kapı İstanbul TEM Otobanı'nın bulunduğu tarafta bulunuyor. Genel olarak en youn giriş çıkış yapılan kapılardan ikisi burası. 3. Kapı ise benim çn taraf diye nitelendirdiğim kısımda. 4. ve 5. kapılar ise Organize Sanayi Bölgelerinin olduğu tarafta. Burada, yani Başakşehir ilçesinde İstanbul'un Avrupa yakasının organize sanayi bölgeleri bulunuyor. Bu sanayi bölgeleri için tasarlanmış bir ilçedir burası.
