I like to find beauty in any type of building, this is the good thing about this wonderful world of architecture and construction, we have a range of wonderful options to discover, from sumptuous and amazing works, to those with simple design lines, which somehow, are able to catch your eye.
Days ago, I had the opportunity to return to the " Parish ", this time, for medical matters, this day my son would have a pediatric consultation in this place. In this sector, we can find houses, very beautiful, with beautiful designs, small quintas as we say in Venezuela, to those big and elegant houses and others quite charming. This house, for example, caught my attention, I love the design and the location of its windows, plus the combination of white and blue, is perfect.
Hola amigos amantes de la arquitectura y el diseño, espero inicien una semana increíble donde todos sus propósitos se logren. Feliz de volver y compartir con ustedes, un poco más de la arquitectura de mi querida Mérida, Venezuela.
Me gusta, encontrar belleza en cualquier tipo de edificación, esto es lo bueno de este maravilloso mundo de la arquitectura y de la construcción, tenemos un abanico de opciones maravillosas por descubrir, desde obras suntuosas y sorprendentes, hasta aquellas con líneas de diseño sencillas, que de alguna manera, son capaces de atrapar tu mirada.
Hace días, tuve la oportunidad de volver a la “Parroquia”, esta vez, por asuntos médicos, este día mi hijo tendría una consulta pediátrica en este lugar. En este sector, podemos encontrar casas, muy bellas, con diseños hermosos, pequeñas quintas como le decimos en Venezuela, a esas casas grandes y elegantes y otras bastantes encantadoras. Esta casa, por ejemplo, me llamó mucho la atención, me encanta el diseño y la ubicación de sus ventanas, además que la combinación en blanco y azul, es perfecta.

A medida que nos acercamos al centro de esta comunidad, encontramos algunos edificios de la arquitectura contemporánea, edificios típicos de la región, con pocos pisos de altura.

It is the Colegio Nuestra Señora del Rosario, a private educational institution, where primary and secondary studies are taught, it is a school that enjoys an excellent reputation.
En realidad es una zona con un lindo contraste arquitectónico, esta vez, no llegamos a la zona central, donde predomina la arquitectura colonial, pero pueden darle un vistazo en este post, fue ese día que vi por primera vez, este edificio de colores pasteles, que me gusta mucho y sabía que algún día le tomaría algunas fotografías con más detalle. Bueno, ese día llego.
Se trata del Colegio Nuestra Señora del Rosario, una institución educativa privada, donde se imparten estudios de primaria y secundaria, es un colegio que goza de excelente reputación.
It is a fairly large building, whose main facade occupies an entire block, has three floors that culminates with a gable roof in Creole tile and tongue and groove ceiling. At the main entrance we find the name of the school in beautiful golden letters.
At the main entrance there is a trellis with beautiful vegetation that harmonizes and gives life to this building, where a small arched roof with green asphalt shingles stands out, which welcomes the members of this institute.
I love the colors used and the way the walls were painted, a combination that I like very much. And despite using different colors, it does not look exaggerated, on the contrary, it is quite harmonious.
Es un edificio bastante grande, cuya fachada principal ocupa toda una cuadra, cuenta con tres pisos que culmina con un techo a dos aguas en teja criolla y techo de machihembrado. En la entrada principal encontramos el nombre del colegio en letras doradas, muy bonitas.
En la entrada principal cuentan con un enrejado con una bonita vegetación que armoniza y le da vida a este edificio, donde sobresale un pequeño techo en arco con teja asfáltica verde, que recibe a los miembros de este instituto.
Me encanta, los colores usados y la manera en la que fueron pintadas sus paredes, una combinación que me gusta bastante. Y a pesar de utilizar distintos colores, no se ve exagerada, al contrario, resulta bastante armónica.
On the right side façade, the reinforced concrete columns and beams stand out, and we can see that the windows are quite large, which is very good, as they guarantee good lighting in the classrooms, something that is vital.
En la fachada lateral derecha, sobresalen las columnas y vigas de concreto armado, vemos que las ventanas son bastantes grandes, algo que es muy bueno, así garantizan una buena iluminación en los salones de clase, algo que es vital.
At the other end of the street, we have the other facade, my favorite, It is composed of three parts, we have a rectangular body with a beautiful stained glass window and a rustic white siding. In the central part, we have a two-story body where is the entrance to the garage, and at the end culminates with the gable roof. This asymmetrical combination is interesting and the color plays an important role that gives a special touch to this design.
En el otro extremo de la calle, tenemos la otra fachada, mi favorita, Está compuesta por tres partes, tenemos un cuerpo rectangular con un bonito vitral de colores y con un revestimiento rústico en blanco. En la parte central, tenemos un cuerpo de dos plantas donde queda la entrada al garaje, y en el extremo culmina con el techo a dos aguas. Esta combinación asimétrica es interesante y el color juega un papel importante que le da un toque especial a este diseño.
Without a doubt, it is a beautiful school, I can imagine a central courtyard with an open sky inside, surrounded by classrooms and offices that will surely meet the criteria and standards of spacing and design that school buildings must meet.
I am glad that it is well preserved, I can see that the paint is recent and I hope that it will continue to provide services for many years to come. It is good to find schools with different designs to those we are used to finding in Merida.
Sin duda, es un colegio hermoso, me imagino un patio central a cielo abierto en su interior, rodeado de los salones y oficinas que seguramente cumplirán con los criterios y las normas de espaciamiento y de diseño que deben cumplir las edificaciones escolares.
Me alegra que esté bien conservado, se nota que la pintura es reciente y espero que se mantenga prestando servicios por muchos años más. Es bueno encontrarse con Colegios, con diseños distintos a los que estamos acostumbrados a encontrar en Mérida.
