Hola comunidad, espero que todos estén felices y se encuentren muy bien de salud. Desde la República Bolivariana de Venezuela, saludo a todos con mucho respeto y cariño. El pasado 4 de agosto mi esposa y yo fuimos al Foro Libertador, espacio público ubicado en la zona norte de la ciudad de Caracas, Parroquia Altagracia, muy cerca del lugar donde vivió mi esposa y del Seminario Interdiocesano Santa Rosa de Lima donde yo estudié, primero como seminarista y luego mi carrera docente.

Hello community, I hope everyone is happy and in good health. From the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, I greet everyone with great respect and affection. On August 4, my wife and I went to the Foro Libertador, public space located in the north of the city of Caracas, Altagracia Parish, very close to the place where my wife lived and the Santa Rosa de Lima Interdiocesan Seminary where I studied, first as a seminarian and then my teaching career.

Estando en ese histórico lugar, mi esposa y yo, rememoramos tiempos hermosos de nuestra época de estudiantes y de novios; muchas veces visitamos la Plaza Panteón, la Biblioteca Nacional y los amplios espacios cargados de arquitectura y naturaleza. Por cierto en el Foro Libertador está ubicado el Edificio sede del Archivo General de la Nación, La Casa Teresa de la Parra, El Museo Fundación John Boulton y ahora incorporaron el nuevo Mausoleo del Libertador, anexo del Panteón Nacional; además, muy cerca el antiguo Cuartel San Carlos de Caracas

Being in that historical place, my wife and I, we remember beautiful times of our days of students and boyfriends; Many times we visit the Plaza Panteón, the National Library and the wide spaces full of architecture and nature. By the way, in the Libertador Forum is located the headquarters building of the General Archive of the Nation, The Casa Teresa de la Parra, The Museum John Boulton Foundation and now they incorporated the new Mausoleo del Libertador, annex of the National Pantheon; also, very close to the old Cuartel San Carlos de Caracas

Dirigir nuestras miradas de enamorados hacia la zona Norte para ver la grandeza y belleza del Cerro El Ávila o el Parque Nacional Waraira Repano, como se le conoce oficialmente, era para nosotros un episodio romántico que nos dejaba absortos, el día que estuvimos en ese lugar lo volvimos a hacer. Es muy agradable rememorar momentos felices, donde la lozanía de ayer sea la protagonista. Recordar nuestro noviazgo nos rejuvenece el alma y eleva nuestro espíritu al cenit del amor haciéndolo mas fuerte e indisoluble para la Gloria de Dios.

Quiero aclarar que en esta publicación no pretendo detallar la arquitectura del lugar sino mostrar el Foro Libertador, su patrimonio y los alrededores del lugar; sin embargo, dejaré algunas pinceladas importantes que considero se deben saber como por ejemplo lo siguiente: La construcción del Foro Libertador se inició en 1981 y se fue inaugurando parcialmente por segmentos de la obra, hasta que se culmina completamente en 1997. Debe su nombre al Libertador Simón Bolívar ya que sus restos se encontraban en el Panteón Nacional; a partir del año 2012 reposan en el nuevo Mausoleo.

I want to clarify that in this publication I do not intend to detail the architecture of the place but to show the Liberating Forum, its heritage and the surroundings of the place; however, I will leave some important touches that I consider should be known, such as the following: The construction of the Foro Libertador began in 1981 and was partially inaugurated by segments of the work, until it was completely completed in 1997. It owes its name to Liberator Simón Bolívar since his remains were in the National Pantheon; from the year 2012 they rest in the new Mausoleum.

Edificio con forma de rampa en ascenso, de tendencia moderna y vinculado al antiguo Panteón Nacional por un pasillo. La estructura tiene 54 metros de alto, y está recubierta de cerámica blanca. Posee ocho metros más de altura que la torre más alta del Panteón, por lo que en cuanto a escala supera considerablemente a este edificio. Abarca 2.000 metros cuadrados, con una capacidad para recibir hasta 1.500 personas. La estructura fue hecha con cerámica blanca, acero ensamblado en talleres del país, láminas traídas de Suiza, cerámicas de España, granito negro de Suráfrica y acero corten de Estados Unidos.}

Building in the shape of a rising ramp, with a modern trend and linked to the old National Pantheon by a corridor. The structure is 54 meters high, and is covered in white ceramic. It is eight meters taller than the tallest tower in the Pantheon, so in terms of scale it considerably exceeds this building. It covers 2,000 square meters, with a capacity to receive up to 1,500 people. En los alrededores del Foro Libertador también se encuentran el monumento al filósofo, matemático, astrónomo y poeta persa Omar Khayyam, quien nació en el año 1040 en Nishapur, donde también murió, probablemente en 1124.
