Hello friends,
For this edition of the #SMASh contest organized weekly by in the #shadowhunters community I am going to present the oldest shadow I have ever seen and I think many of you have never seen such an ancient shadow either.
My entry to SMASh contest round 304
This is the shadow of a vertebra of a Homo Ancestor dating back 850,000 years ago.
Apart from this vertebra I was also able to photograph other jewels such as fragments of ribs, skulls and jaws, all from the same period.
I took the photographs in the museum of human evolution in Burgos a couple of weeks ago when I was in the city of Burgos working and taking advantage of the fact that I had one of the afternoons free.
The truth is that it was an incredible experience to visit this museum of human evolution with a multitude of archaeological remains and many additional surprises like this Mammoth skeleton of which most of them are original bones.
Let's see if at some point I can order my more than 300 photos taken during this visit and write a little more about this spectacular museum.
Best regards.
