we were out picking mushrooms a few days ago and went to our favorite spot for funnel chantrelles or yellowlegs Craterellus tubaeformis. we had been there earlier and found quite a few but there were many very young ones.
so when we went back the other day this time they were plentiful. we filled our baskets and when we got home i took this shot on the kitchen floor holding a bright flashlight in one hand and the camera in the other.
the flashlight gives a bluish colored light so the shadow has an orange tone. this is interesting because it is the opposite of the more customary orange sunlight giving blue toned shadows
