For many, weekends are considered to be family-centric. It's when most spend more time with their loved ones, either at home or going out for some fun activities. With that, I hope things are going well for everyone. Let us keep loving life and creating more memories.
Today, I'm sharing some captures (mostly shadows of us) from our road trip some time ago. And let me kickstart with this. What comes to your mind on seeing it? Could you give it a caption? A wee surprise to whoever makes me giggle๐
I may have mentioned a few years back when I first posted in the community that I tend to photograph my own shadow or anyone with me. It started way before I met Hive and I did share several of my past captures, some taken over a decade ago.
And guess who joined the club?
The Farmboy.
And this is him holding his cap as he photographed his own shadow๐
And it became a family thing. These were taken at the grounds of the Battle of Bessang Pass Monument in Ilocos Sur.
And these were at the grounds of the viewpoint. His shadows could be interpreted as him saying "wo ai ni" (left photo) and "come to papa"๐ (right).
And what of this? You could say he was into a role or something, lol! What was it that he was trying to do or say on this one?๐ค
After the fun at the Monument place, we drove many miles away to the sea where we had our walk and also got our shadows captured by the phone lens.
We saw this statue by the entrance to the shore. Could this be a hint to the first photo on this post? Hmmm...
Anyway, the shadow hunt by the beach began with this shadowfie of Anyongi and me. But wait, what? Shadowfie? Nah, there's no such word, I just coined it (taking inspiration from 'selfie').๐
It was followed by this one as we approached a light post. That's still me carrying our little guy on my right shoulder.
Then the Farmboy joined us. The fam is now complete and picture-pawfect!
This is a view of the shore, with some solar-power light posts. A few people were enjoying the sea breeze when we got there. One or two of them braving the waves now and then.
And just a bonus shot of me and my sister that was taken at another shore farther away, during our New Year escapade.

Yep, it's probably not what you may have thought. It's just the Farmboy on his phone, capturing some photos by the shore. Would you have thought that he was imitating the statue by the entrance?๐
Well, this has been fun, and do consider this as my participation in the 305th Edition of the Shadow Hunters challenge, a creative initiative by Melinda.
Happy Sunday!
