Out she went for a little walk
purposely to hunt mushrooms.
Little did she know she'll be having fun
by the northside of the compound.
Through tree branches not so dense
the sun rays peeked,
Giving warmth to the place
and to her lil head.
Up above she looked,
clear blue skies met hers.
Onto the ground she gazed,
she sees her own shadows.
Branches and leaves rustle
as the gentle wind blows
There she just stood in wonder
mesmerized, she took some stills.
Ayayay!
Just an attempt to be a bit more creative and it's funny how things came up today. I'm quite chuffed although this is so elementary.😅 Please don't laugh or you can, why not? LOL!
These photos were of yesterday morning by the way. It's a part of my early adventure which I wrote about on my previous post. They are not the best but they stirred the noggin and provided some good inspiration, hence the little tale in rhymes above.
And this of course is my participation to Round 262 of the Shadow Hunting Challenge by Melinda which I've not had the chance to join in the recent weeks.
Anyhow, it's the weekend for us up here in the mountains and although there is a wedding and a funeral (no, that's not even a joke. Real events in the clan albeit in separate locations), the husband and I opted to just stay home for a much needed rest. We came back late last night attending both the wake and the pre-wedding bash.
In times like these, people will be plenty. It's ingrained in our culture and tradition to be there, invited or not. But we wanted to avoid the crowd so we decided to not go anywhere and just be here at home.
Meanwhile, here's to a Happy weekend to all of you!
