It's been a minute since I've posted anything, but a sudden rainstorm (30% chance of rain, my ass!) brought me back inside from cutting my lawn, and concern from my good friend about my well-being due to my absence, have prompted me to get something out there. So, here it is...

That shadow, which reminds me of a spacecraft, was cast by this light structure:
I also have some dinosaur fossil shadows that I would like to share. These are made by the Acrocanthosaurus atokensis, the first ruler of Texas. This beast was the largest North American theropod to exist, prior to the evolution of the tyrannosaurids.
One more dinosaur, without much of a shadow:
That big mouth belongs to Deinosuchus riograndensis, the King of the Crocodiles. In case you wonder about what distinguishes a crocodile from an alligator, it's essentially that the alligator will see you later, while the crocodile will see you in a while. That groan-worthy dad joke probably doesn't translate well outside the US, or even below a certain age, but I couldn't resist.
Well, I hope that's enough to prove that rumors of my demise were unfounded and that I am still alive and posting. Now, back to the lawn...
