Bienvenidos queridos viajeros del internet y gracias por hacer una parada temporal en mi post, todos en algún momento hemos pasado por situaciones en las cuales nos sentimos desesperados y necesitamos aferrarnos a algo para poder seguir luchando, ese algo siempre resulta ser la esperanza puesto que resulta ser esa recarga de energía que necesitamos. Sin más que agregar busquen sus lentes y acomódense en sus asientos que estamos por comenzar.
It is that feeling that is characterized by that desire and longing for everything to turn out well, it is not just a whim but a necessity to be able to maintain spirits and good energy. Some think that hope is simply a delusion, a blindfold to avoid reality. This may turn out to be true but I still prefer to have an optimistic view of things since a positive attitude is much more beneficial.
Es aquel sentimiento que se caracteriza por ese deseo y anhelo de que todo salga bien, no es solo un capricho sino una necesidad para poder mantener los ánimos y las buenas energías. Algunos piensan que la esperanza es sencillamente un engaño, una venda en los ojos que se coloca para evitar la realidad. Esto puede llegar a ser cierto pero sigo prefiriendo tener una visión optimista de las cosas puesto que una actitud positiva es mucho más beneficiosa.
Unfortunately it can also be cruel by giving false illusions but it is a small price to pay for keeping the motivation on and the look set on getting what we want. 10 years ago I was in one of those beds with the prognosis of only staying 1 year to live, I never gave up, now I have a beautiful wife and 3 beautiful children.
Desgraciadamente también puede llegar a ser cruel al dar falsas ilusiones pero es un pequeño precio a pagar por mantener la motivación encendida y la mirada puesto en conseguir lo que queremos. Hace 10 años yo estaba en una de esas camas con el pronóstico de solo quedarme 1 año de vida, nunca me rendí, ahora tengo una hermosa esposa y 3 hermosos hijos.
At the end Martin had a huge smile and wet eyes, after finishing his story there was a total silence in the room, some looked at him with amazement and admiration, others cried since they felt moved, but everyone without fail felt their strength renewed to continue fighting. Al concluir Martin tenía una enorme sonrisa y los ojos húmedos, luego de terminar su historia hubo un silencio total en la habitación, algunos lo miraron con asombro y admiración, otros lloraban puesto que se sentían conmovidos, pero todos sin falta sintieron sus fuerzas renovadas para seguir luchando. Fijaron sus ojos en Martin mientras se iba y decía "Espero con ansias saber que ganaron la batalla" Tras decir esas palabras abandono la sala de oncología.
