Catching Up With My First Book To Read in 2023
January 9, 2023
Five days ago, I shared with you that one of my goals for 2023 is to read at least 26 books. This means I need to finish reading one book every two weeks. The problem is, some books are thick, some are thin.

Greetings once again, my dear friends, readers, and book lovers. And hello, Hive Book Club! This is my first post for this community.
Have you included the number of books to read in your goals for this year? I have heard and read from various gurus, that we must read 52 books per year. That's one book per week.
If I remember it right, I have finished of Timothy Zahn's Star Wars trilogy books within three weeks. That means, I can finish one book per week.
However, the books I'm planning to read this year are non-fictional. I plan to read financial management, self development, and self help books.
To start the year, I chose "Simplify and Creat Abundance" by a Filipino author and preacher Bo Sanchez.
The book is about managing personal finance from a Biblical point of view.
What is interesting is, the author compared the experience of the Israelites to the stages of our financial journey.
I admit, I started late in reading this book. I started January four. However if I want to make my goal, I have to finish this 114-page book bu the 14th of January.
I am already at page 61 and I have five days left to finish the book.
I think I can finish this book before the 14th. Then the next book I plan to read is a book by Napoleon Hill.
Thanks for reading
