As I said before, entering this world is like being in a fantasy environment, but one that seems real at the same time. What's more, the protagonists are not simple heroes, but find themselves in very dangerous, dark moments. And I'm not talking about them fighting against these forces, but rather that they could be the force we all fear. It is not easy to walk in the shadows, and that is what this wonderful novel by Cris Ortega is about. The red raven weaves an atmosphere of mystery and, on this occasion, presents itself as a watchman in search of the truth. That truth that overwhelms the kingdom of Celiras, where even allies themselves could be walking in the world of shadows, allowing the kingdom to be under constant danger that requires sacrifices that no one is willing to make.

The oracles have made a prophecy, in which the liberation of Celiras is foreshadowed with the arrival of a chosen one; however, this vision is unclear, and those within it do not know whether they must fight to triumph or submit to the designs of the shadows. Among these characters, we see the young Count Willhem, who has a deep desire to be a knight. However, to achieve this, he must face the hero of Celiras, with whom he has a deadly rivalry. Being a knight is his goal, and to achieve it, he will stop at nothing. He will even prevent the chosen one from fulfilling the oracles' designs, since Willhem is not that savior; on the contrary, Willhem will be his enemy. Simply put, this young man wants to prove that he is equal to or far superior to that chosen one.

This first volume is like a kind of introduction to the characters and what we can expect in the future. It is certainly a highly dynamic, mysterious story that keeps you hooked at all times. Without a doubt, we delve into Willhem's deepest desires and his ambition to be the hero and the best knight, as well as the events of war that the kingdom is experiencing. We are definitely in the presence of a puzzle, where we cannot lose any pieces, as they represent the rise or fall of the kingdom. What the Count experiences is unthinkable; within him there is a relentless struggle to find his identity. Will he have to join the chosen one to save the kingdom, or will he just be an obstacle where the true bloodshed is revealed? It is a powerful question that the reader must unravel.

In short, the ending of the book is magnificent and unimaginable; as I said, we will not see a definitive ending. On the contrary, I understand the last page as the beginning of a great adventure full of more magic, more intrigue, more betrayals, and more inevitable struggles. Certainly, Willhem of Brandearg has begun to fulfill his dreams; however, from my point of view, he has had to pay a high price. The rivalries that began are still raw; enemies are close at hand and the kingdom is on the verge of collapse; all these doubts will continue to unfold in the following volumes, where we will be under the shadow of an uncertain future. Realmente es fascinante leer sus historias y eso lo podemos vivir en el Volumen 1 del libro La Sombra del Cuervo Rojo; sencillamente aquí no vamos a leer, sino que vamos a tener una vista agradable con las palabras de Cris.

En esta historia vamos a disfrutar de una historia que nos traslada hacia la época medieval; donde si hay magia, pero esta será distinta porque estará dentro de ambientes oscuros, peligrosos y muy misteriosos. Veremos que estamos dentro de reinos donde la guerra puede ser inevitable y lógicamente, contaremos con la presencia de personajes conflictivos que indudablemente no sabemos si son amigos o enemigos. Lógicamente, vamos a sumergirnos en un primer tomo donde no tendrás la oportunidad de vivir un final; sino, que desde mi punto de vista, será el punto de partida de un camino oscuro que los protagonistas tendrán que recorrer. Por otra parte; no pierdas de vista al cuervo, porque este será una especie de símbolo que puede anunciar guerra, muerte o cambio de poder inminente; en este volumen será un vigilante de la verdad; quédate, que la historia te encantará.

Como dije antes; entrar en este mundo, es como estar en un ambiente de fantasía, pero que a la vez parece real. Además; los protagonistas no serán los simples héroes, sino que los mismos estarán dentro de momentos oscuros muy peligrosos. No es fácil caminar en las sombras y de eso se trata esta novela maravillosa que nos trae Cris Ortega. El cuervo rojo teje una atmósfera de misterio y en esta ocasión se presenta como un vigilante en búsqueda de la verdad. Esa verdad que agobia al reino de Celiras, donde incluso, los mismos aliados pudieron estar andando en el mundo de las sombras; permitiendo esto, que el reino esté bajo peligros constantes que requieren sacrificios a los que nadie está dispuesto ofrecer.

Los oráculos han planteado una profecía, donde se vislumbra la liberación de Celiras con la llegada de un elegido; sin embargo, esta visión no está clara y los que están dentro de ella no saben si para triunfar deberán luchar, o someterse a los designios de las sombras. Dentro de estos personajes vemos al joven Conde Willhem, quien tiene un deseo profundo de ser caballero. Sin embargo; para lograrlo debe enfrentar al héroe de Celiras, con quien se teje una rivalidad mortal. Ser caballero es su objetivo y para lograrlo, no le importará pasar por encima de quien sea. Incluso, no le importará impedir que el elegido cumpla los designios de los oráculos, ya que Willhem no es ese salvador; al contrario, Willhem será su enemigo. Simplemente; este joven quiere demostrar que él vale igual o muchos más que ese tal elegido.

Este primer volumen es como una especie de presentación de los personajes y lo que podemos enfrentar en el futuro. Ciertamente; es una historia sumamente dinámica, misteriosa y que te mantiene dentro de ella en todo momento. Sin duda alguna; nos adentramos en los deseos más profundos de Willhem y su ambicion por ser el héroe y el mejor caballero, además de los eventos de guerra que vive el reino. Definitivamente; estamos en presencia de un rompecabezas, donde no podemos perder ninguna pieza, ya que ellas representan el ascenso o la caída del reino. Lo que vive el Conde es impensable; dentro de él existe una lucha implacable por la búsqueda de su identidad. ¿Será que deberá unirse al elegido para salvar al reino, o solo será un obstáculo donde se demuestre el verdadero derramamiento de sangre?; es una interrogante poderosa que el lector debe develar.

En definitiva, el cierre del libro es grandioso e inimaginable; como dije, no veremos un final definitivo, al contrario, la última la página la he entendido como el inicio de una gran aventura llena de más magia, más intriga, más traiciones y más luchas inevitables. Ciertamente, Willhem de Brandearg ha comenzado a cumplir sus sueños; sin embargo, desde mi punto de vista ha tenido que pagar caras facturas. Las rivalidades que iniciaron están a flor de piel; los enemigos están muy cerca y el reino está a punto de caer; todas estas dudas seguirán avanzando en los siguientes tomos, donde estaremos bajo las sombras de un futuro incierto.
