I hope you are doing well, I haven't participated in this community for a long time, but everything has its explanation! As a good college student I was absent and I have not had time to prepare review posts and I am also in the process of finishing reading other books to bring them to you 🥺 so well, due to lack of time I have not really been able to be very active in the community, but we will correct that! And what better than participating in the contest proposed by the Hive Blook Club community on the review of a manga🙌🏻. I must confess that when I read it, it was a little hard for me because I don't read many manga, but if there is one that I read it like a vicious from beginning to end and it lasted 1 week just because every night I dedicated a moment of reading even if I wasn't electricity 😱🤣 (Momento Venezuela haha) well, you can imagine how shocking it seemed to me not to detach from that manga and its history, and I'm talking specifically about Vampire Knight a manga that came out in 2005 and that in its story covers evidently vampires, hunters, love, romance, action and a lot of drama but above all an ending that leaves you a feeling of frustration with the protagonists 🥺, so answering some topics of the contest I will also leave you a brief review of my part ✨.

Vampire Knight focuses on the story of Yuki, who is currently a student of Cross School, but this school has something in particular, it has two student societies, called "Day Class" and "Night Class" those of the day class are ordinary students like Yuki who is also a guardian of this class, but the night class are very different, starting that they are real vampires, and cohabit with humans in this institution but in separate shifts, since the students of the day class should not know the secret that live with vampires. On the part of the night class, they attend the Cross school to learn how to coexist with humans and ignore their instincts of bloodlust, this group has as guardian Kaname Kuran, a pure blood Vampire and is leader of this group of Vampires, which obey him without any opposition. The director of this school is Cross Kaien a former vampire hunter, who has the conviction that humans and vampires can coexist and along with Kaname Kuran who is more on the side of humans than his own race agreed to help him to keep at bay the vampires that can not be controlled, however there are those who do not agree with this coexistence, as is Zero Kiryū who is the orphaned son of two vampire hunter parents, killed by a pure blood vampire and since then keeps an immense hatred against the monsters. However, everything gets complicated when Zero can not avoid his feelings towards his fellow guardian Yuki and she in turn can not control her feelings towards Kaname and who long ago when he was 5 years old he saved her from the attack of a vampire and since then keeps a great admiration for him.

At the beginning the manga doesn’t seem flashy, since we are talking about a high school, 3 main characters who keep a secret between all of them and feelings for each other, so far is the hook that the manga has from my perspective in the first chapters, but as you continue reading, you get to know the other people and the secrets that no one tells each other, and in turn the manga keeps hidden also in each end of chapter, it motivates you. Plus I love love love and romance stories, I’m a person who likes drama, and this builds in every step you read the story. I would say that while you get hooked with the romance of the characters, on the other hand the chapters are unleashing chaos and conflict with other characters that get involved, where it forces you to position yourself on one side or the other, you want to be on Yuki’s side, then Zero’s but if you keep reading now you want to be on Kaname’s side, until you don't know who you really should be, because the story plays with our morals and values, they move emotionally significant things for many of us who have gone through difficult times in adolescence and at the same time the action of what you would do if you were in the position of the protagonists. The story has several climaxes at the end of the first few chapters, in the middle of the story and at the end, all of which take a 180° turn where processing each of them costs quite a bit.

The development of the characters goes hand in hand with how the story progresses, in the same way that the story is having changes (good and meaningful) the same goes for the development of the characters. What is important is that you should not miss any detail, as it is important when you see a change or a plus in the characters, but that's how it is, each one has their own independent development and their own mini story in the plot, which connect them with the others. Everyone is broken, everyone has a dark past, everyone hates and loves someone, but not everyone is able to face themselves, and that is part of the development of the characters that make you get attached to them, whether they are bad or good according to your point of view. There are people who get a heartbreaking end, and there are those who do not even know what happened or why they ended up like that, but the story itself explains it, yes, no one has a development where the happy ending, on the contrary, happiness will depend on how you digest and cope with what happens at the end, but in my opinion no one ends up happy or with some glimmer of compassion in their story.

Of course I would, how can I not recommend something that had me hooked every night awake for a week, of course depending on your tastes this may call your attention or simply pass you by, but if you already like fantasy, vampire stuff, drama, romance, story that make you feel feelings towards each character even knowing that they are not real, PS you may like this manga. It is easy to read, the story at the beginning as I said may not be more attractive but if you are faithful to continue reading you will get to the part of the story where it begins a development that you will not want to miss in each chapter.

Espero se encuentren muy bien, ya tenía tiempo que no participaba en esta comunidad, pero todo tiene su explicación! Cómo buen estudiante universitario me ausente y no he tenido tiempo de preparar post de reseña y además que también estoy en proceso de terminar de leer otros libros para traerselos 🥺 así que bueno, por falta de tiempo de verdad no he podido estar muy activo en la comunidad, pero vamos a ir corrigiendo eso! Y que mejor que participando en el concurso propuesto por la comunidad de Hive Blook Club sobre la reseña de un manga🙌🏻. Debo confesar que cuando lo leí me costó un poco ya que no leo muchos mangas, en su defecto me guío mejor en la historia por el Anime, pero si hay uno que me lo leí como un vicioso de principio a fin y dure que si 1 semana nada más porque todas las noche le dedicaba un momento de lectura así no estuviese electricidad 😱🤣 (Momento Venezuela jaja) bueno, se imaginarán lo impactante que me pareció para no despegarme de ese manga y de su historia, y hablo específicamente Vampire Knight un manga que salió en 2005 y que en su historia abarca evidentemente vampiros, cazadores, amor, romance, acción y mucho drama pero sobre todo un final que te deja un sentimiento de frustración con los protagonistas 🥺, así que respondiendo algunos tópicos del concurso también les dejaré una breve reseña de mi parte ✨.

Vampire Knight se centra en la historia de Yuki, que actualmente es estudiante de la escuela Cross, pero está escuela tiene algo en particular, tiene dos sociedades de estudiante, denominados “Clase Diurna” y “Clase Nocturna” los de la clase diurna son estudiantes normales y corriente como Yuki quien además es guardiana de esta clase, una especie de “líder” pero la clase nocturna son muy diferente, comenzando que son vampiros de verdad, y cohabitan junto a los humanos en esta institución pero en turnos separados, ya que los estudiantes de la clase diurna no deben saber el secreto que conviven con vampiros. Por parte de la clase nocturna, asisten a la escuela Cross para aprender como convivir con los humanos e ignorar sus instintos de sed de sangre, este grupo tiene como guardián a Kaname Kuran, un Vampiro de pura sangre y es líder de este grupo de Vampiros, los cuales lo obedecen sin ninguna oposición. El director de esta escuela es Cross Kaien un antiguo cazador de vampiros, que tiene la convicción de que Humanos y Vampiros pueden convivir y junto Kaname Kuran que esta más de parte de los humanos que de su propia raza acepto ayudarlo para mantener a ralla a los vampiros que no se puedan controlar, sin embargo hay quienes no están de acuerdo con esta convivencia, como es Zero Kiryū quien es hijo huérfano de dos padres cazadores de vampiros, asesinados por una vampira de sangre pura y desde entonces guarda un inmenso odio contra los monstruo. Sin embargo todo se complicaría cuando Zero no puede evitar sus sentimientos hacia su compañera guardiana Yuki y está a su vez no pueda controlar sus sentimientos hacia Kaname ya quien hace tiempo cuando tenía 5 años el la salvó del ataque de un vampiro y desde entonces guarda una gran admiración hacia el.

Al inicio el manga no parece llamativo, dado a qué hablamos de una preparatoria, 3 personajes principales quienes guardan un secreto entre todos y a su vez sentimientos uno por el otro, hasta ahí es el gancho que tiene el manga desde mi perspectiva en los primeros capítulos, pero a medida que continuas leyendo, conoces a los demás personas y los secretos que nadie se dice, y a su vez el manga mantiene escondido también en cada final de capitulo, te motiva. Además amo las historias de amor y romance, soy una persona que el drama le gusta, y esto se construye en cada paso que lees la historia. Diría que mientras te enganchas con el romance de los personajes, por otro lado los capítulos van desatando un caos y conflicto con otros personajes que se ven envueltos, donde te obliga a posicionarte de un lado o de otro, quieres estar de parte de Yuki, luego de Zero pero si sigues leyendo ahora quieres estar de parte de Kaname, hasta que no sabes quién realmente deberías estar, porque la historia juega con nuestra moral y valores, mueven cosas emocionalmente significativas para muchos que hemos pasado por momentos difíciles en la adolescencia y a la vez la acción de lo que harías si estuvieses en la posición de los protagonistas. La historia tiene varios clímaxs al final de los primeros capítulos, a la mitad de la historia y en el final, todos dan un giro de 180° donde procesar cada uno de ellos cuesta bastante.

El desarrollo de los personajes va de la mano de como avanza la historia, de la misma manera que la historia va teniendo cambios (buenos y con sentidos) el mismo desarrollo de los personajes igual. Lo que si es que no te debes de perder ningún detalle, ya que es importante a la hora que veas un cambio o plus en los personajes, pero es así, cada quien tiene su independencia de desarrollo y su propia mini historia en la trama, que lo conectan con los demás. Todos están rotos, todos tienen un pasado oscuro, todos odian y aman a alguien, pero no todos son capaces de enfrentarse así mismo, y eso forma parte del desarrollo de los personajes que más te hacen encariñar así sean malos o buenos según tu punto de vista. Hay personas que obtienen un fin desgarrador, y hay quienes ni saben que sucedió o porque terminaron así, pero la misma historia lo va explicando, eso sí, nadie tiene un desarrollo donde el final feliz, todo lo contrario, la felicidad dependerá de como digieras y sobrelleves lo que sucede al final, pero en mi consideración nadie termina feliz ni con algún resquicio de compasión en su historia.

Por supuesto que SI, como no voy a recomendar algo que me tuvo enganchado todas las noches desvelado por una 1 semana, claro dependiendo de tus gustos esto puede que te llame la atención o sencillamente pase de largo, pero si desde ya te gusta la fantasía, las cosas de vampiros, drama, romance, historia que te hagan surgir sentimientos hacia cada personaje aún sabiendo que no son reales, PS este manga te puede gustar. Es sencillo de leer, la historia al principio como dije quizás no sea más atractiva pero si eres fiel en continuar leyendo llegarás a la parte de la historia donde comienza un desenvolvimiento que no te vas a querer perder en cada capítulo.
