I hope you all are doing well. Today i will share a very delicious recipe of spinach and corn Stir Fried. This recipe not only boasts a delicious taste but is also rich in iron. It's worth noting that Popeye, a beloved fictional character, famously favored spinach, showcasing its nutritious appeal and culinary versatility. Let's get started!
Ingredients:
🌿 300g fresh spinach leaves (washed and chopped)
🌿 1 cup of corn kernels
🌿 1 onion (finely chopped)
🌿 1 tomato (chopped)
🌿 2-3 cloves of garlic (minced)
🌿 3 green chili
🌿 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
🌿 Salt to taste
🌿 2 tablespoons oil
Preparation
🌼 Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
🌼 Add minced garlic, and Saute for a minute.
🌼 Add chopped onions and green chilli and saute until golden brown.
🌼 Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
🌼 Add corn kernels and cook for 5-7 minutes.
🌼 Add chopped spinach leaves and cook until wilted.
🌼 Add salt and Mix well.
🌼 Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the spinach or corn is cooked through.
🌼 Adjust seasoning if needed.
🌼 Serve hot with roti or paratha
