While its slightly bitter taste may not appeal to everyone, when cooked properly with the right blend of spices and coconut milk, it transforms into a flavorful and healthy dish. If you follow my method, you wonβt even notice its bitterness!
Letβs prepare this tasty and nutritious bitter gourd dish, which makes a perfect addition to any meal while balancing both flavor and health. Hereβs how to make it!

Required Ingredients...
π Bitter Gourd 200g.
π A piece of Pandan.
π Curry leaves.
π A few chopped green chillies.
π 3 cloves garlic finely chopped.
π A chopped tomato.
π About 1/2 onions, finely chopped.
π 2/3 Cup of coconut oil.
π Salt as required.
π 1 teaspoon of crushed chili powder.
π 1 teaspoon of Roasted curry powder.
π 1 teaspoon of chili powder.
π 1/2 Teaspoon of turmeric powder.
π About 1 cinnamon sticks.
Method of making....
1 Step.
First, slice the bitter gourd into long strips or any shape of your choice and rinse it well with salted water.
2 Step.
Next, finely chop the onions, tomatoes, green chilies, and garlic.
3 Step.
Next, take a pan and place it on the stove. Add about 3 tablespoons of coconut oil and let it heat. Once the oil is hot, add the garlic, onions, curry leaves, cinnamon, and tomatoes, then mix well.
4 Step.
Next, add chili flakes, chili powder, roasted curry powder, salt, and turmeric powder to the pan and mix well to combine all the flavors.
5 Step.
Next, add the sliced bitter gourd to the pan and let it cook in the oil for a few minutes.
6 Step.
Finally, add some coconut milk and boil for 4 to 5 minutes.
