Hello everyone! I am Kona. Hope everyone is well. I'm fine too. I am here with a new recipe. Today I will share with you a vegan recipe with coconut milk.This is a nutritious recipe.Let's start -
Ingredients :
Pointed gourd - half kg
Coconut milk - 1 pcs coconut
Oil - As needed
Salt - 2 teaspoon
Turmeric - 2 teaspoons
Cumin - As needed
Cumin paste - 3 teaspoon
Green chillies - 8 pcs
Sugar - 1 teaspoon
The methods of making :
First I took half kg pointed gourd. Discard the thin covering when cutting them. The thin coating is inedible. Cut each pointed gourd into 2 pieces.
Wash thoroughly with water after cutting. Check for any problems in the pointed gourd after cutting. If there is a problem, discard it and choose fresh pointed gourd for cooking.
Then add 4 pcs chilli to it. But in the next step add more chillies.
Take a coconut. Crack it. After cracking, water will come out from inside. Then separate the two parts of the coconut. Peel the inner part of coconut and make milk with it.
Add oil to the pan. Heat oil on medium heat.After the oil is hot, add cumin as required. Fry cumin for 30 seconds.
Add pointed gourd to hot oil. They should be fried now. It will take 3-5 minutes to fry. Add pepper as required. I have added 4 chillies here.
Add salt and turmeric as needed. I used 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon tumeric.Tumeric will make the color of the curry attractive.
Now add coconut milk to the pan. Coconut milk will give the curry a nice taste. This is my favorite food. Coconut milk can be used to enhance the flavor of any food.
Mix everything together well. The better the ingredients are mixed, the better the taste. Take 3-4 minutes here.
Then add cumin paste. I used 3 teaspoon cumin paste.Then cover the pan for 5 minutes. Now everything will boil better. After 5 minutes remove the lid.
I am adding 1 teaspoon sugar. I like sugar in curries. Those who have problem with sugar can skip it if they want.
Keep the curry in the pan for another 2 minutes on medium heat.Then take it down.
