Hello everyone! I am Kona. Hope everyone is well. I'm fine too. I am here with a new recipe. Today I will share with you a vegan recipe with pumpkin pilule & stem amaranth.Pumpkin pilule is one of the traditional dishes of Bengalis.Let's start -
Ingredients :
Pumpkin pilule - 25-30 pcs
Stem amaranth - 250 grams
Oil - As needed
Green chillies - 6 pcs
Cumin - As needed
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1 teaspoon
Sugar - 1 teaspoon
The methods of making :
I collected 250 grams of stem amaranth from my garden. Collect fresh stem amaranth from the market. If you want you can take 400 grams as it loses weight during cooking.
Cut each stem amaranth separately. Discard the lower root portion as it is inedible.
Add 6 green chillies to the stem amaranth. Not everyone likes chilli so add chilli as per your need.
Add oil to the pan. Heat oil on medium heat.After the oil is hot, add cumin as required. Fry cumin for 30 seconds.
Take 25-30 pcs pumpkin pilule. Pumpkin pilule will enhance the flavor of the curry. You can take 30-35 pcs pumpkin pilule if you want.
Add stem amaranth to hot oil. Add the necessary ingredients and fry it now. Add salt and turmeric as needed. I used 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon tumeric. Tumeric will make the color of the curry attractive. It will take 7-10 minutes to fry.
Now wait until it boils. Cover the pan to boil. After 3/4 minutes remove the lid and mix everything again.
Lift the lid. Mix everything well. The better everything is mixed the more the flavor will increase.Mix for 2/3 minutes.
Now add 1 teaspoon sugar. Those who have problems with sugar can skip it if they want. Then take it down.
