Ingredients :
Coconut - 1 pcs
Rice powder - 5 teaspoon
Tamarind - 8 pcs
Turmeric - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Sugar - 1 teaspoon
Oil - As needed
Cumin - As needed
The methods of making :
I plucked a coconut from our coconut tree.
Peel the coconut.
Separate the coconut kernel. Then cut the kernel into small pieces.
Take 8 pieces of tamarind. But keep in mind that it must be ripe tamarind.
Fill a bowl with water and soak tamarind in it.
This is the kernel of coconut and soaked tamarind.
Add oil to the pan as required. Heat the oil.
After heating oil, add cumin.
Now fry the coconut kernel for 1-2 minuets.
Add water as required. This will help the coconut kernel to boil better.
Wait until the water boils. It will take 4-5 minutes for the water to boil well.
Now add salt, turmeric and sugar as per instructions. These ingredients are important for making chutney.
Cover the pan for 5 minutes. All the ingredients will now mix well together and give off a nice aroma.
Soak the rice powder in a bowl. Use little water to soak the rice powder.
Open the lid. Now add rice powder.
Now after adding the rice powder, keep the whole recipe in the pan for another 5 minutes. Then take it down.
