Hi culinary friends, as usual, today I will cook a dish that can be said to be very simple, food that tastes like it comes from the village, what else if not water spinach, I often cook this vegetable at home, because in my opinion, water spinach is a very delicious vegetable no matter how you cook it.
and today I will cook wilted kale in a different way than usual
Usually I saute water spinach with lots of chilies, onions and tomatoes, but today, I only use one spice ingredient, namely garlic, like sauteed water spinach with garlic, but the taste is no less delicious than other dishes with chilies.
This dish was inspired by a food stall in my village, there they serve Chinese stir-fried water spinach, why is it called Chinese stir-fried according to the story from the stall owner because the only ingredient is garlic and garlic is a spice that is widely eaten by Chinese people hahaha it's a bit strange but I don't know if it's true or not
and I myself am also curious about this super simple but delicious dish, it goes really well with rice so today I plan to make it at home as a side dish for our family lunch
Curious about how I cook this dish, well just follow the steps that I will share in my post today.
Materials used
5 cloves of garlic
1/2 tbsp salt
1/2 tbsp ground pepper
Sweet soy sauce to taste
Manufacturing procedure
I cut the water spinach into small pieces, then I washed it several times until it was clean, I also cut the garlic into small pieces.
Next, I heated a little cooking oil, then I sautéed the garlic until dry, then I added 1 glass of water.
After the water boiled, I put in the water spinach, salt, pepper and soy sauce. I waited until the vegetables were wilted, then I turned off the stove.
RESULTS
This is the result of our lunch menu, yes, even though it is simple, it is very delicious because I am a lover of green vegetables, especially water spinach, if you boil it in stir-fry it will definitely be very delicious, right? This vegetable is very popular among all kinds of people in Indonesia.
With the sweet and savory taste of water spinach, and the very fragrant aroma of fried garlic, I think this is very suitable to be a vegetable menu at home, very good and healthy, consumed with warm rice will create a delicious taste,
