This banana molen is widely sold in markets in the afternoon, it can be said that there are a lot of banana molen sellers in our place, but even so, the buyers are also very busy, to the point that we who buy it also have to join the queue, so rather than joining the queue just wanting to eat this banana molen, so I took the initiative to make it myself at home, using the recipe given by my mother, I immediately made it today
and this is my first time making banana molen, hopefully my banana molen this time will be good, like the banana molen sold in the market where I live hehe
Materials used
50 grams of cornstarch
4 bananas
1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
1 tablespoon of margarine
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
1 glass of ice water (use just enough, not all of it)
Manufacturing procedure
First, I peeled the banana from the skin until it was completely peeled, then I cut the banana into diagonal pieces like this
Next, I mix the flour, margarine, salt and sugar. I stir it first until the flour and margarine are evenly mixed. Then I add ice water and then I knead it until the dough is smooth.
After the dough is smooth, I let the dough rest for 15 minutes, then I flatten the dough by rolling it until the dough is thin and I cut it into small pieces and I roll it again until it is thin.
Next, I took the dough that I had rolled out thinly, wrapped it in the bananas that I had cut earlier, then fried them until the banana molen was perfectly cooked.
RESULTS
My homemade banana molen is ready and I immediately enjoyed it with enthusiasm, for the top I sprinkled a little chocolate paste so that when we eat it is even more delicious, the combination of banana and chocolate is definitely not in doubt, right, for this banana molen is really very crispy when bitten. a few tips for making banana molen skin so that when rolled as thin as possible, so that when fried the texture of the skin will be crispy like this

A few tips for choosing bananas to be made into banana molen, don't make the bananas too ripe, because if the bananas are too ripe, they will become softer when fried, so try to choose bananas that have just ripened.
