Hi vegan friends. It seems like today I will be cooking vegan food again. Cooking vegetable soup with a spicy savory taste of vegetables that are easy to find and easy to cook, usually these vegetables were often cooked by my grandmother in the past, but now I started cooking them myself at home with my mother, coincidentally my mother brought 1 unripe papaya and moringa leaves that were deliberately picked from the garden so the vegetables I cooked this time were very fresh because the vegetables and fruit were picked directly from the tree
This vegetable is also very beneficial for mothers who are breastfeeding, it can increase breast milk production for mothers who are breastfeeding, well, besides that, this vegetable is also very good for our bodies, we don't need to use a lot of spices, just use salt, pepper and cayenne pepper and for the complement I use Sunti acid and lime leaves to add fragrance to my cooking today.
It's a very simple dish, isn't it? But don't be mistaken, this food is very sweet, there's no need to use flavoring, the sweetness is already there in the green vegetables and the papaya too, and I don't think you need to add any other ingredients.
For the level of spiciness, just adjust it.If you are curious about the manufacturing process, just follow the steps that I will share in my post today.
Materials used
1 papaya
1/2 tbsp pepper
1 tbsp salt
4 cayenne peppers
7 kaffir lime leaves
4 sunti tamarind
Making process
First, as usual, I started cutting the moringa leaves and papaya into small pieces.
After the vegetables were cut into small pieces, I washed them until they were clean, then I started to boil the water until it boiled.
While waiting for the water to boil, I started to grind the spices, such as pepper, salt and chili. I didn't grind the lime leaves and tamarind.
After the water boiled, I added the ground spices, lime leaves, and tamarind. I also added the vegetables immediately. Then, I cooked until the vegetables were tender and thoroughly cooked.
RESULTS
This is the result of cooking spicy papaya and moringa leaves. This sauce is very delicious. The sauce is savory, sweet and spicy, all mixed together. The spicy, savory pepper is also very suitable when combined with these ingredients.Young papaya fruit is just ripe enough to be dipped in shrimp paste chili sauce, but today I don't want to dip it in chili sauce because the sauce is already very spicy, so I enjoy it like this.
Enjoy it with a plate of warm rice, hot fried fish and a glass of cold water to increase our appetite when we enjoy it.So, if you are confused about how to cook unripe papaya, just follow the recipe that I am sharing, I am sure you will like it too.
Thank you 🙂🤗
